I thought that was bad enough, but with this, I'll never even be able to hold my grandchildren unless I'm sitting down. Before all of this, I was healthy, not on any meds and now my 50s were robbed from me, and my future does not look very promising. This individual should not have a license to practice. I am a 40 year old woman and I had been diagnosed with ADHD about 8 years ago. I was on a good medication regimen that was still working for me, but I thought it was time for me to do a med checkup since it had been several years. Dr. Leo was knowledgeable about the latest research, and also was a good sounding board for discussing long-term health effects. She also has a holistic approach to mental health that I was grateful for - including discussing diet and lifestyle factors etc. I appreciated her analytical and critical thinkings and wealth of knowledge (I am a scientist myself, so this resonated well with me), and I felt heard by her and supported in my journey. They asked good questions and took notes on everything I said. The doctor came in not too long after and took time to review things with me. They spoke in a way that was easy to understand and didn't overcomplicate stuff. Looked into a few things and gave some thoughts about what could be going on. What I liked was that they didn't just give a quick answer and move on. They asked me what I thought and made it feel like a two way conversation. I walked out feeling heard and informed.
