Ok. First off, the videos are Flash and none of the pages are sized properly for a newer monitor. That alone should give you a good indication of how out of date and kludgy this class is. I understand the 5 minute time limit is required, having to click through three pages and take the time for each page to load, plus take a one-question "quiz" is downright ridiculous You can count on this course taking between 30-40 hours when you include page loads, lagging, being kicked off the website repeatedly, reauthorizing Flash each time, and homework assignments Next up is the fact that the instructor, while likeable enough, seems to be speaking from absolutely no script and just an outline. While acceptable during a college lecture class done over a semester, it's absolutely UNACCEPTABLE during a compressed 20 hour online course. No one needs all of the sidebars, opinions & jokes, a multitude of filler words, and the time he spends trying to think of what he wants to say. If these classes were performed for a forensics competition, I'd be hard pressed to give him anything above a last place score. All in all, I hope and pray there are better classes out there when it comes to for me to take CE courses. This one should be avoided at all costs.

Proof of 22 certificates. No cap or no games here. All business here!

EXTREMELY Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value So far I got like 22 certificates from MEC and they helped me immensely to soon become my companies #1 performer. I originally only bought the 20-HR + 10 HR NV PE course but fell in love with the MEC team. Watching them from sun up until sundown laughing at 2 AM at the way David Luna is able to teach topics of the 'trenches' or mortgage industry if you are part of it you will know what I mean. Whether you want to get licensed for the first time, complete CE, add state-specific education for PE, or even make your company in super ultimate compliance with the help of amazing attorney Tyna-Minet Anderson then let me tell you MEC is the way to go. Or even learn about credit and student loans related to the mortgage industry then Amanda Jackson will provide excellent knowledge regarding this topic. I can't find another NMLS Course provider that matches these stellar services and team here at MEC. Also, they are very very competitively priced compared to ANY other course provider out there if not the best along with being the Rolls Royce of NMLS Course providers in terms of quality and efficiency. Can't go wrong here!! So far I got licensed in 6 of 9 states with the help of MEC education and should have 9/9 very shortly(NMLS takes forever). Just 2 months ago I was fired for standing up to my boss and now I am at a way better company making moves he couldn't dream of making with the help of MEC!! Invest in yourself and your future to provide for your family with MEC!! If you don't like MEC then you may need to be evaluated by world-class physicians or have a showdown with me because I am a world-class MLO and will outperform you in any area of the trenches thanks to MEC and my tenaciousness towards learning!

They specialize in practical reading, writing, and speaking skills. For students, they have emerging and intermediate programs, as well as classes that focus on parenting, citizenship and workplace English. In April I attended the ESLC for training to become a ESL teacher. For $50 they provide a 2-weekend training at their headquarters in South Salt Lake; complete with heart-string jerking stories of their students, role playing real-life scenarios, creating a lesson plan and a swanky orange tote bag. The staff and mentors are amazing and I completed the program feeling a lot of responsibility in my new teaching role, but well-equipped and with an ample support system. They also encourage you to sit in on a class to get hands-on experience. The staff at ESLC opened my mind to what a impact confidence in language makes. From a parent who wants to ask questions their child's parent-teacher conferences, to an individual that wants a more fulfilling career.

We also offer opportunities to become a volunteer teacher in one of our English classrooms. Potential volunteers can apply on the English Skills Learning Center website (eslcenter.org).

People were claiming they were scammed because they didn't check with their facilities to see if the course would be accepted there before paying for it. Many more facilities now accept purely online ACLS certification courses and there are more companies offering them now. ACLS.com is one of the originals and I've been using their ACLS course for recertification for many years now. Yes, it's been accepted at the facilities where I've worked, but you still should check with your facility before paying for a course! I find ACLS.com's courses to be thorough and entertaining. Well worth the money to get your certification and save a day or two of time at an in-person course. If it's your first time certification there's definitely an argument for going in-person to practice on mannequins. I haven't taken ACLS.com' course this year yet, but in the past there were some errors on the practice exams and the real exam, but nothing terrible. The course has improved in presentation and organization every time I've taken it.

I have yet to see an organization that accepts their certifications because it is didactic only; NO SKILLS TESTING, THEREFORE NOBODY ACCEPTS IT. And even then they refuse to accept the skills test! Total scam.

We spent most of the time in the van and when we did stop at the locations, we weren't able to go inside to tour any of them or even use a bathroom at them, we just stood in the driveways to learn about them. I admire her passion for teaching, but we cannot for the life of us figure out how our $3000 was spent. The wine was limited to an ounce every time, and whenever we asked for a second "glass" the lady pouring would say "well we want to make sure everyone gets some!" - the "snacks" were two tiny pieces of cheese inside of a ziplock baggie and there is no place to use any restroom throughout the course of the entire tour... mainly because the tour takes place only in a van and standing in driveways. For $3000, a nice suggestion would've been a charcuterie spread INSIDE of one of the locations with some tastings and every person at that price should at the very least have been able to go home with a bottle of wine from the tour. I give her credit for starting up a creative business in an extremely competitive tourist city, but I can't in good faith allow anyone else to pay so much money to go into this expecting a luxury experience, and end up getting yelled at by a bus driver and having to sneak around an old hospital just to pee. I really liked her as a person and hope she can take this advice and use it to work on creating a better experience for all.

We started our tour at the Brass Tag Deer Valley with an introduction to PC history (complete with imagery) while sipping a wonderfully light wine. Next, we hopped upon a "wine bus" - seats facing each other - to encourage continued education and conversation. With each historical stop, wine and mine history was poured by sommelier Kristen Fox, small snacks were gifted in a goodie bag to enhance the flavor of the wine, and guests enjoyed the humor and depth of knowledge of Kirsten. Six wines, six locations, a return to the Brass Tag for more history and a plate of charcuterie made for a perfect three hour activity. Highly suggested unique tour - great tour bus - just call an Uber to drive you back to your hotel- if needed.
