Oh well at least all the pumps give you the option to pay at pump which is so important for me when I've got my daughter with me (pretty much all the time), as it saves the hassle of taking her out of the car seat and into the shop to pay. They do all the different types of Fuel, unleaded, diesel and the other one, is it LPG? and the price per litre is as you would expect - competitive. I never have an trouble locating a trolley and the queues after choosing my shopping always seem to go down very quickly. I am glad to be wrong as Abbeyside Filling Station have priced matched Tesco's prices and are even a penny cheaper at times so they seem as busy as ever! Inside the station there is a range of ever day convenience products with sweets, snacks and papers and magazines. There are three station for fuel at Abbeyside Filling Station each with pumps on both sides, so 6 cars, bike or vans can fill up at the same time. There is a power car wash and the traditional car wash you drive through. You can also get pump up the air in your tyres although its 10p. The staff are friendly.

The cashier pointed this out and I apologised to the customer but while I was being served the cashier was openly hostile and practically threw my receipt at me. Maybe this cashier should realise that, indirectly, I am paying her wages as are all the other customers. For customer service a definite zero.

The store is open 24/7 as you'd expect, they have a Starbucks Coffee machine inside and a small range of food/grocery items, some items were reasonably priced for a petrol station and not ultra-expensive, but obviously, you wouldn't want to buy food items from here unless you had no other option as they still end up costing considerably more than nearby supermarkets. Petrol is, of course, a little expensive here as you'd expect. The overall service station was pretty clean, I liked how they have a clear pathway from the street for pedestrians who want to access the store which is handy, although it is a good walk from Burnley town centre and even Barracks Station, so I would say to come in a car if you're able too. Sadly, there are no Amazon Locker facilities here, although a nearby Texaco garage/service station which is just under a mile away does offer them, I do think they're missing a trick by not offering them here, however, as there is a lack of them in Burnley as a whole. 4*
