As with any service company, you take a risk in doing business with the, but research is important. When I called, I spoke with Shawn in the office who professionally scheduled a service call at a time that was convenient for me. Zach came out and was able to diagnose that the blower motor was bad and would need to be replaced. The next day I spoke with Dave to find out they had a lead time of around 14 weeks for that motor. Dave could have just stopped with that news, but instead he offered to send Zach back out to pull the blower motor, so he could attempt to repair it to get us going before the cold came. Long story short Dave was able to make a repair to our ECM motor, so Zach returned and got our heat working. A great deal could have gone better with this situation, but not much of that was in the control of Dave' Services. They offered a professional service and went above and beyond to help take care of a "new" customer. You see I have never used an HVAC company, as traditionally I would perform most work like this myself. I have been in the service industry for more than 30 years and have most of the skillsets needed to make repairs, but in this situation, I did not have the time nor the specific industry knowledge. I sincerely appreciate the extra effort it took to get heat for my family this winter season, and you can be certain when I do replace the unit it will be done by Dave's Services. Jim did a phenomenal job in explaining what my options are to replace my system, including fixing some of the concerns we have with poor airflow throughout our home. My advice for anyone researching and reading business reviews, take time to read between the lines, the truth is always somewhere in the middle. Dave's Services is a great value, and they have professional and caring team members looking only to help customers now and in the future. Thank you for taking care of my family's needs this winter.

Now I know why they are behind.

It has cost me $2,600 at this point, and it's still not fixed as of 8/18, and I haven't heard from them in a week. They've been routinely unreliable, setting up dates to come out for install and then not showing up or communicating. Do not use them if you have any other option.

Morris has serviced my parent's house for 20+ years and has always been phenomenal!!! I just moved out in my own and noticed my A/C is struggling to cool my house. I called another place (it's a Friday) and got a high quote for a visit on Monday, with advice to turn off my unit OR to schedule a visit for that evening during the weekend hours. Of course, they wanted to charge an arm and a leg too. I got off the phone and decided to call Morris and boy, best choice ever!!! They are coming out in a few hours and are charging less than the other place for the diagnostic visit. I am never going anywhere else!!! read more

I live in Florida and my 86 year father is in Sidney. He called this morning...his furnace was out and it was -10 degrees outside. I called Morris and explained the situation and they told me they would get over there as soon as they could. I talked with my father and they came over and fixed it within a couple hours. They charged me less than $100 for the whole thing and provided fantastic service! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC services! They were on site on Friday morning, I asked them specifically if they could install a specific Trane system that I wanted to purchase or if they could get me a better price on their system. I had the exact make/model/price of a unit that they could compare with. They promised me they would write it up both ways and have it to me by the end of the day. I give them all of Friday and Saturday with no response and message them Sunday and Monday to see what's going on and get promised by the end of today again. I was lied to again and had to message them again before they finally sent me a quote on Tuesday. It was only at this time that I was told that they couldn't install the unit I wanted and that their "competitively" priced equivalent unit was over 200% the cost of what I told them I was initially looking at. Their eventual quote for their Goodman system was also 20% more expensive than the carrier system that one of the most reviewed and reputable companies in Dayton/Springfield quoted me. I understand that installing third party systems is not common in the industry which is why it was the first thing I asked. It should not take 5 days of leading me on to tell me they can't do it.

A and L plumbing here in New Carlisle…read more UPDATE: Rick the owner just showed up to our house unannounced and claimed he forgot. Then during our encounter he admitted to Tiffany calling and letting him know about my online review today. He was condescending and tried to deny several spots of damage claiming our skirting was previously like that. I acknowledged some small holes from the lawn mower and other areas but showed him the specific spots where his employees worked and how they damaged it. He argued and would not provide a resolution and left stating I can write all the bad reviews I want. I have submitted a complaint with the BBB officially. We used this company to repair our mobile home plumbing. They came out and looked and stated they would need to return tomorrow with a heater to unthaw the main line before they can asses the actual damage. Mind you they charge $90 per visit regardless if they fix it or need to come back. They come back the next day and work on unthawing some lines then find out our water meter is cracked and that has to be fixed before they can do their job (The water meter is the responsibility of the mobile home park) This is another $90 plus they charge us $60 for the labor of unthawing the lines so $240.00 total so far and our plumbing isn't even fixed at that point. We call our front office and have their maintenance man come the next morning and they replace the water meter. Then this company comes back out and replaces what needs fixed and then bills us an additional $900 dollars and states they are giving us 10% off. We pay them in full only to realize they have tore up our skirting around the mobile home. I call Rick on Thursday 02/05 and explain this to him. He states he would need to speak to his guys and then call me back and it might not be until tomorrow (02/06/2026). It is now Tuesday 02/10/2026 and Rick has never called us. I will include photos of the skirting damage for reference. Do not use this company if you don't want property damage with zero acknowledgement and resolution.
