I should have expected it given the nature of what they do but our sales woman (Cecily) was as two-faced as you could possibly get. Came in on a Friday afternoon to show my parents their potential new car. Dad loved it, mom hated it. We left. He changed his mind over the weekend, called them back and made an appt. for 6pm. At 4pm the sales woman apparently called me but got distracted and left the phone on while my vm picked up. You should have heard here derogatory comments and swearing about us! We had spent less than 15 minutes at the dealership 4 days prior and she was ranting like a drunken sailor about us while we were coming in for the sale. Completely unprofessional and shows what an ignorant little woman she is. When I called to complain I asked for the GM and was told they don't have one. Huh? No GM for a car dealership? Ok, sure. Was sent to the voicemail of someone with a last name of Morris, which I assume was related to the owner, and left a detailed message. Crickets. We eventually laughed at her for the fact she lost the sale by being so dense and promptly went to Jay Buick and got a better deal. Avoid them at all costs. -edit- The day after this was was posted Cecily started harassing me. She called me repeatedly despite the fact I stopped answering after the first call when she demanded I send her "proof" and threatened to sue me. Then she started texting me with the same hollow threats. After a brief conversation with one of her superiors after the harassment they were shocked to learn an employee was acting like this and threatening lawsuits. The service manager Steve Bansek should not have a job. He was rude, aggressive & dismissive of my issue that I was having water leakage in my GMC Terrain. He basically was trying to bully me into backing down & leaving. 4 inches of water in my tire well & he said that it was a known issue with the drainage tubes, yet they do not do a routine check on it when your car is in for service unless you ask for it. So a known issue is blatantly ignored so future problems occur. So as he was trying to belittle my problem he started to angerly point his finger at me, which I asked him to stop, yet he continued to do so. They did not complete a Cadillac recall for a Software Update correctly. My "Infotainment and Safety System" was out for almost 6 days after they supposedly did the Update. What ever happened to double-checking your work? While I was on a conference call with the dealership and with Cadillac Customer Assistance trying to resolve the issue(s), the Service Manager told me that I could go to another Cadillac dealer for my service needs. My granddaughter came to your dealership to purchase her second car. She already knew exactly what she wanted, did her research, knew the pricing was good, and approximately what to expect on her trade. She unfortunately got matched up with Jeremy Moomaw. He was rude and dismissive and treated her like there was no way she would be able to purchase a vehicle. I'm going to assume that is because she had two baby girls in tow. Please teach your sales people not to prequalify their customers. A lot of sales are lost because of arrogant salesman, like Jeremy Moomaw. Worst used car experience...ever. $30k plus Yukon they said they inspected, showed the Carfax of the one minor repair they did. Within weeks...transmission issues, supsension, driver seat alert, and on. They made one transmission fix, still having issues. I took it to another dealer.. $7k in recomended repairs. That's the worst GMC dealer in all Ohio. Starting from their customer service to their own service. I had an oil change for my newest terrain and when I came back home I found little oil drops on the ground in my garage. I called the dealer to let them know that there's something wrong, I brought it back the next day to get it checked out and Rivers told me that the technician found a small leak. She advised me to drive the car for another 300 miles and come back so they can tell what the leak is from. I asked for a loaner so I get to work and she put me on the waiting list. It's been 3 weeks now and haven't heard anything from them. I've been calling them all day today and every time I ask for service it goes to voicemail. Pretty sure there was nothing wrong with the car before I do the oil change and Morris ruined my car. Never going back to that dealer. read more

Have left several messages and not one call back. If its this bad before you even get your car in for service image how bad it is once its there. I scheduled an appointment three weeks in advance at Morris GMC to evaluate my GMC Acadia, which is making a clicking sound when turning left, a symptom often associated with a CV joint issue. Upon arrival, I noticed that the service advisor, Kathleen Rivers, did not accurately record my specific concern as I described it, despite my repeat emphasis on checking the CV joint both during the phone appointment and in person. My vehicle, with only 18,000 miles on it and still under warranty, seemed to be a straightforward case for any knowledgeable mechanic. The service advisor did assure me that they would inspect the CV joint and the entire suspension system, so I went on my way. The loaner car I received was visibly damaged from a previous accident, with a smashed trunk and back bumper and missing collision sensors. The staff advised me to disregard any collision alerts and assured me of the car's safety, despite it being the only option available even though I made my reservation three weeks prior. Sure, it got me from point A to point B, but during the drive, the constant collision alerts were a significant distraction. After waiting six hours without any update, I finally received a phone call and was informed that the technician couldn't find any issues with my vehicle. My requests to speak directly with a technician were unmet, with the explanation that they had already left for the day, yet the service department was still open for another two hours. Repeated queries about whether the CV joint was specifically checked were met with uncertainty and after abruptly being placed on hold because she could not answer my question, I was eventually informed that only a visual inspection of the suspension had been conducted, not the thorough check I expected. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, I was charged a diagnostic fee, despite no actual diagnosis being made and an active powertrain warranty that provides coverage for this concern specifically. The invoice accurately mentions my complaint about a clicking noise, but Kathleen's documentation of it comes across as amateurish, failing to capture the specific terminology I requested, which would have led to an extremely simple diagnosis. The invoice stated that my vehicle was driven six miles since I dropped it off, but the odometer didn't reflect this and the vehicle was only driven two miles. There was also no indication whatsoever on the invoice that the CV joint was checked. The service advisor mentioned that they don't usually inspect CV joints in detail as it's a more involved process, something that they should have indicated upfront and I would have never dropped it off in the first place. I was advised to return if the problem persisted. My offer to demonstrate the issue was declined due to the unavailability of staff and was told again to come back another day. I don't have time to come back another day when I had an appointment in advance and they had my vehicle in their possession for 6 hours already. They had all day to ask me to come back and demonstrate the issue or they could have called for more clarification. Disappointed by this experience and the lack of competence shown, I now unfortunately have to pay out of pocket elsewhere for a premature CV joint failure, something that should not occur for many more miles. It may be beneficial for the dealership to hire service advisors with a basic understanding of vehicle mechanics at a minimum to ensure that customer concerns are documented accurately. read more

We went to Morris Buick having already done a test drive on a Envision. We had a nice salesperson, who helped narrow down an Envision from their current inventory. He wrote up the deal and we left for 1 hour, to get a check from our bank and the title to our trade in. Upon arrival back to Morris, Our salesperson asked if we had gotten his text. I had not checked my phone. They decided that we did not qualify for a$1600 rebate they had figured into the price. And even though we had signed an agreement, they said they needed $1600 more. I said we would only pay what was agreed on and said, I couldn't believe they would let us walk away. But they did. Despite their error, they would not accept the agreed upon amount. We left and went right to Joyce Buick. Had a wonderful experience and got the same exact car for $400 less than what we agreed to pay at Morris. Not worth a darn at assessment of auto damages from a vehicle accident when instructed to check the exhaust system. Auto Zone used a scanner in under 10 minutes and came up with a catalytic converter malfunction. Upon jacking up the vehicle on the right side as if i was changing a tire, i layed upon the ground and viewed the flex pipe which i read in a Chilton's car manual where this was located. Broken clear as day. Simple easy looking and a 10 minute scan hand analizer revealed these damages. Morris service advisor must be blind and seemed like he was in a hurry. Body shop leave much to be desired. Nothing but rigamarole and obfuscation with Nationwide claims wherein i had 4 claims agents in 2 1/2 months. Do not take your car here for repairs. I was in an accident and brought my car here to he fixed. I have a GMC Terrain. This is a GMC dealer, I thought I was in good hands. The first time I picked up my vehicle there was paint on my windows and they didn't fix my wheel. When I brought it in again to fix this they scratched my window to get the paint off and painted my wheel the wrong color! My wheels are a glossy black they painted them a matte black. Service not complete, service summary and services completed not correct, this was the second service that no points were added to my points program, i was told i was going to receive a call on Monday and no call received. To my surprise i found a receipt for Marcos pizza in my vehicle that was delivered to shop, time stamp confirms it was while my vehicle was in for service, still have receipt for proof. Had a bed liner installed in my truck, was installed warped, does not lay flat and is wavy, was told it would flatten in summer, 2 summers ago. Purchased a used car in good faith! When they detailed it and I went to pick it up it smelled so awful! They said they would detail it again. Still smelled awful when we went to pick it up. They said take it and keep it for three days. Still smelled after three days. Took it to a local car detailer who said she never smelled anything so awful that it was making her sick just standing next to it! Took it back they said they would do another process on it which left it still smelling! The car smells so bad ! We paid for extra dealer certification that said if after 3 days you are not satisfied with the car they take it back. Now we are being told that we have had the car to long that we must take possession of it and to bad that it isn't something I can drive because it smells. Mind you we haven't had the car enough to even drive it! What really is upsetting is right is right and wrong is wrong! It isn't my fault that they ruined a car that I really wanted! So many people walked by my car and question what that smell was before I even mentioned it to them! I did not ruin this car they did but we are being told to bad we must take something that can't be driven ! I have so many people who will testify to the fact of this including text from salesman admitting the car smelled and not to pick it up and the car sales manager who admitted the car smelled and said let us air it out and drive it around the parking lot and leave windows opened! Returned a leased vehicle to them and they parked it at Great Northern Mall for 11 days until it was inspected for end of lease. Being charged for damages that were not on vehicle when turned in. Also we had the vehicle professionally detailed before turning it in, however photos of end of lease shows that someone had used the vehicle to move something that trashed the hatchback. Have reached out to dealership over 6 times and Adam Morris will not return any of our phone calls. We still have another vehicle leased through them and I know that we will never work with this dealership again. We will be returning the lease at another dealership. read more

Terrible service experience all around. Body shop had my car for 3 months after a rear-end collision, rarely returned my calls until the last few weeks, then I had to leave my car for re-work twice with issues still remaining the third time. The first time I picked up my car the blend on the new rear quarter was VERY noticeable with coarse sanding in the filler still visible under the layers of paint, there was little to no paint coverage on the inner lip of the quarter by the back glass, 3-4 huge fisheyes in the paint by the right rear window, and sanding scuffs on my roof (which had no previous damage). After leaving it for the above issues I was called again to say the car was ready. When I arrived, about half of the quarter panel was still completely dull from wet sanding, so I left it again for the job to be finished. The third time I arrived on appointment the car wasn't ready and I had to wait over an hour for the quarter to be buffed then the car washed before leaving. After arriving home and in the sunlight, the fisheyes are still there as well as the roof sanding scratches from poor masking, they are just sanded/buffed to be much less noticeable. After almost 4 months with my car and 2 re-works it's still a half-assed job. Paint color matches well though, and aside from the listed issues the paint looks good. I also have a few mechanical complaints on the repair - 15 minutes into my drive home the car started running at about 1/3 power in a limp mode. Not sure if this is from the accident or the repair (abs/traction control sensors?), but I'm waiting on a service appt to try to figure out what's wrong. The right rear of my car also sits about a half-inch higher than all other corners now after the work. I'm having another shop look into this as I have no faith that the Morris repair shop is paying enough attention to ensure a fix. They seem capable, just not committed or concerned with completing the job. Twice in the middle of this I requested a call with the service manager from the front desk/receptionists to get some help in trying to bring this job to an acceptable close and was assured they'd get back to me the following mornings. I never received a call except for David and I's ongoing conversations. I have a feeling it's going to be closer to 5 or 6 months before I have a fully functioning car from Morris all from a medium rear-end collision. Again - aside from a couple of issues the paint work looks good and the suspension hasn't fallen off or anything, but I really couldn't be much more dissatisfied in the service, my treatment, and the end result with my car - especially for a certified Cadillac dealership. While I realize the description above seems dramatic - I've tried to be as honest and factual as possible without embellishment. It's honestly just been an impressively bad series of events. read more

Worst car buying and service experience ever. Trust me do not go here.

1st Service: I received a new bumper after an accident. They replaced the bumper and sensors but didn't completely connect the bumper AND they did not re-activate the sensors to which I almost HIT 2 CARS!! I called the Body Shop to have them fix my bumper and re-program the sensors. They said it would take a week. I fought to get it fixed and they took the SUV that day. 2nd Service: I received our first oil change in JUL 2016. After returning from a family vacation (1600 miles later) we noticed a puddle on our driveway. It was GEAR LUBE from the differential AND the bottom slid plate was extremely loose and almost fell off. My husband called Service to explain and they said impossible. My husband knows a bit of mechanics and argued back. Service said they have no availability and the first appointment was 7 to 14 days out. My husband argued and Service took the SUV that day. After we explained to Service, in person mind you, all the issues, they gave us the name "Steve" and said for US to call him to complain. I assume Service never notified Steve or our salesman because NO ONE FROM MORRIS EVER FOLLOWED UP! I fully intend to call Bob and Adam Morris personally. No matter if a vehicle purchase was $5K or $80K, customer service should be outstanding. I have heard the Cadillac owners are treated exceptional. Very painless experience for buying a car. Started off by using the website and got questions answered very quickly. Then I got an immediate email from the sales manager Steve with information I was looking for. I submitted a credit app online and showed up A little after 4 PM. I was greeted by the receptionist and while they were trying to track Steve down they introduced me to Mark Yonke. Mark myself and my wife immediately hit it off as he took us out to look at the Acadias. Mark knew his stuff and was quickly able to identify what I was looking for in a car and show me the models that were on the lot that could accommodate me. There was no need for a test drive since I was currently driving and Acadia but Mark pulled it out and showed me all of the new features and let me sit in it. I found one I liked but there was no sunroof. Mark assured me that that was an easy fix and they could install it within a couple of weeks and give me a rental car. We went back into his office and quickly were given some numbers that matched up with what we were looking to spend. I was also able to get a payoff on my current loan and apply my credit from my GM credit card very easily thanks to Mark. Steve processed the paperwork since the normal credit manager was not in and I was out the door by 6 PM. I cannot say enough about the dealership and the way I was treated. Very professional and courteous. My wife is now looking for a car and we will try to give our business to Morris. read more

Terrible service by the body shop, got into a accident took my Buick Enclave to Morris, what a huge mistake, although they fixed what was needed for my SUV but before my accident it ran really , after they were done, all of a sudden I needed struts and a wheel alignment and they wanted over $900. My 2004 Saturn Ion aka "Brenda" decided to fall apart for the very first time ever and the closest dealer was of all dealers was a Cadillac dealer. Since it was Friday evening & a holiday weekend I was told She would need to stay there until Tuesday of the following week since Brenda was deemed unsafe to drive. Morris Cadillac made their shuttle available to me for a ride home which was wonderful. I need to give kudos to their shuttle driver, I believe his name is Greg (not sure) he was truly heaven sent, I can't begin to tell you what a pleasant gentlemen he is. I thought my spirits were going to be down because of having to spend the holiday without a car plus the fact that I left my apartment keys in the car at the dealership, but he left me in such a great mood I didn't mine being car less. He stayed with me until I was safely in my apartment. He even went to the office explained why I was keyless & asked for their assistance to gain entry to my apartment.
