They did have a dog drinking fountain which is great but as dogs drank and flung water, it then made the dirt quickly turn into mud! They provided some benches and tables which was nice! Some of the requirements are admittedly restrictive (patrons must wear a mask at all times, even while doing cardio) but they are fairly enforced and designed to keep the gym safe for ALL patrons. This meant that on hot summer days we could play without overheating quickly. Recently my visits have been to the softball fields and not to the park. Before Covid shit everything down, they appeared to be in the process of updating it. During the winter and early spring I participate in a softball league that plays at the fields located at the back of this complex. The fields are always well maintained and ready to go when we show up to play. Only once or twice in my four years playing has something happened that caused a delay. The manager of the fields was there and was able to quickly rectify it. The complex also features a skate park, a dog park, and soccer fields. They also have large mixed use fields located under the lights.

Wide open spaces, minimal seating, 1 Pavillion but it seems to cater to families in the neighborhood. Everyone was friendly. It also seems there was some sort of spring program occurring in the building, seeing it was spring break and all, and the kids inside seemed to be having a blast. This park is located next to thonotosassa elementary. I am elated to have found a new park to do my daily walks.

So the dogs have nothing to run run and bark at driving in the street. They have multiple concrete sections with dual water fountains for filling up swimming pools for the puppies in the summer. As soon as you walk in there is a poop bag dispenser trash can and water fountain. There are enough old growth trees to keep you busy counting them the whole time you're here. The only problem is you have to park across the street but it's not that far of a walk although I am sure during the weekdays it can be a little packed. But today is Sunday and there is absolutely no one here in the parking lot was wide open. The Tampa dog park was packed and this one is empty although I think this one is nicer. But if you wonder why the star count is so low all you have to do is read some of the reviews, very few are about the actual Park most of them are about how people felt. Could you imagine Life as a dog if your owner never let you find a tree? Out of the 2000 dog parks we have been to this park definitely would rate above the better half of dog parks line, but that's just my personal opinion hahaha

It's one of the smaller dog parks that I've been to the trees are nice, but your dog or puppy will not be able to run and enjoy themselves as much as they would with a place with less trees in the middle of the park however there are some balls left by other people that your dog may enjoy
