Contacted Morris Bart, LTD over 5 weeks ago. They were prompt in responding. Then Mary came into the scene. We signed a contract.I provided PII & PHI about the case and it went downhill afterwards. It was very difficult to contact her. No updates. After 5 weeks she said the case was being transferred to Scott Bishop and he would call in a week. Nothing. After attempting to reach her several times again. She said find another law firm because it would go to court. After a fall at the Golden Nugget, I was told to call Morris Bart's office. Of course, he just flipped it to one of his "employee" attorneys. I provided all the medical bills, pictures, people who witnessed the accident, and proof that it was the fault of the casino in not notifying people of an upramp. Even 2 employees had problems or saw others who fell in that same location. It has been since January 2020 and they have done NOTHING! DON"T use this bunch! read more

I am very unhappy with the service I have received at Morris Bart. After months of visiting doctors suggested by my Morris Bart attorney and after months of having this attorney represent me, I am told that my case is only worth $750.00 because my case falls under another state's jurisdiction instead of my own state's jurisdiction (which is where I live and had the accident). This is the main problem I have with this law firm. Something as basic as the case's jurisdiction should have been told to me on the very first meeting. Instead, I am told this 8 months later, that nothing can be done about my case and it's not even worth bringing to trial. Of course, being upset over this, I asked to speak to Morris Bart personally, but, I was told that he is not responsible (although it's his law firm), and when I tried calling his New Orleans office (I'm in Mississippi), my call was re-routed to the attorney I was assigned by him (in Mississippi). I know this to be the case because 5 minutes after my call, my Mom called his New Orleans office and got Jessica instead. Obviously, this is another tactic I'm not happy with! I've never needed an attorney before, but I'm glad I called Morris Bart. They made everything super easy and even came to my house. My attorney was smart and explained everything so I could understand it and decide what to do. I think I'd have made mistakes if I had tried it myself cause there's a lot I didn't know.
