I called another place (will go do the crappy review there) and was met with an inability to do a transaction over the internet (I know they are in Iowa, but welcome to the somewhat modern times) and when I called the dude was gruff and said, I have 1 spot left, come and get it and it is yours..... NOT HERE !!!! There was a nice web portal to make my reservation, then when I called to confirm, sorry other place had me all shook up and I was 1 week away from move out, their phone person was GREAT and ensured I had everything. I then received a call the next day as first day was over the weekend by the Manager to confirm. The sweetest demeanor on the phone, I was very confident. Then when I arrived 4 days later, I had a unit waiting for me, she hooked me up and BAAAM I was storing my stuff for the summer. By the way, this also bought my business for the next 4 years and I ensured everyone at my son's college I spoke to knew how wonderful this place was. Welcome Iowa, this is what I was looking for...... GREAT PLACE. Now off to find the other place and write a crappy review, but I suspect they don't care much.

Left two messages with Chad, no call back from Marcie (GM). If you want info or service requested? This place gets zero stars. Value? U-Haul is more expensive out of state for moves, than private movers, but I called for info anyway, yet never a call back. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I have two storage units. Pay them separately each month! One is on auto pay. I paid my second unit…read moretwo days late, but I paid it! I went to my units to put a few winter thing inside. One unit had a lock on it. The guy at the counter said my unit was not paid for, I told him it was. I went home and checked my bank account. Yep, it was paid! I got on the chatline, saved the chat conversation too. The person on chat said they accidentally put my payment on someone else's account, she sent me the receipt showing I paid my bill. I went back down to Uhaul and my unit was unlocked for me. I thought end of story. But, I go another email saying my unit was unpaid. I sent an email back to Lisa the GM saying I paid for my unit to read the emails. I thought, end of story. Then today I get another email saying I now owe n additional 15$ and I have 15 days to get my unit caught up. But How can she miss that I had paid? Her own people sent her that they had messed up. Ignorance! My attorney is next! I have no way to email U haul all of this. This GM is Sioux City is worthless or trying to scam people out of their storage unit items! I have printed the arbitration form. And I will send it along with copies of the chat and her emails! Do not use these units. They used to be amazing, I have been there six years or so. Now it is a scam unit.

Prices are competitive (I think they're actually less than the last storage place I was with) and they have alarms on the doors that will go off if someone who doesn't have the code tries to open it.
