And a sky filled with billions and billions of stars... but other places can make similar claims. The location on Paradox Lake is really special and also allows you to visit nearby Schroon Lake. Lake George, Lake Placid, Lake Champlain are all a drive away as well and there is tons to explore in the entire area. I miss it now that we are home and would definitely love to return!

Grave yards make for very quite neighbors The owner has a couple of dogs. They are super sweet and may bark at you, but that's what dogs do.

Lucky for us, the owner of the auto repair shop jumped in right away to try and fix the truck. Unfortunately, he could not. It is going to have to be towed back to our town which is 4 hours away. As for the trailer....the owner of the cabins said would could park it and stay the night or until help arrives! This place is so lovely and the owners are so helpful at the both places! Since we have a lot of time to kill, we looked around the property and the cabins. It's a beautiful location. I highly recommend the Auto Repair shop and the Cabins!! The people are amazing! We were in a larger cabin and it had two bedrooms. There were also televisions with fire sticks, so you could stream programs if you had your own login. The owners were the nicest people. They were two brothers and one was in charge of updating the cabins, and the other one was in charge of the decor, which was very suitable for the cabin feel. The cabins are about 10 minutes from the town of Schroon Lake where there are a number of nice restaurants and places to shop. I am looking forward to staying there again.
