I would advise everyone to steer clear of this 'establishment', and I use the term establishment loosely. I had booked a class as a birthday present for a friend of mine for March 2013. The night before they email me to say the chef is unwell, this I have no problem with, but it took them 2 months to respond to my emails and voice mails to re-book another class. I finally get through to them and quickly realise the mickey mouse company they are, exhausting my energy and challenging my patience. 10 days before the class, I called and emailed them to change the date as I had to go away on business. I was told this was fine and to send an email with a new class date. I emailed them, copying in my guest, but once again, no response. I never received a response until the night before saying that I was booked into the class that I had cancelled. As I was away on business, I had no energy or time to respond to their stupid mistake. They finally offer me a date in July 2013, and on the morning of the class I receive another cancellation email from them, this time the venue has a 'security breach', little do they know that I live on the same road as this venue and found out that there were no 'security breaches'. I am now requesting a full refund, to which they have yet to respond. If you are looking for a cooking class, then avoid this place like the plague, unless you want to be messed about and robbed. p.s. I booked this course for myself and my fiance for a bit of fun. they were running a course 5 mins from where we live and it sounded good. i am a reasonably accomplished cook and thai is a favorite of mine so i figured it would be a good way to hang out and cook together. My course was also cancelled (in June) due to a security breach. The course was run at a very basic (and fairly unprofessional) level. The 'Sous chef' was continually telling peolpe the recipe sheet (provided by them) was wrong, and we didn't need the ingredients explicitly listed. I'm happy to freestyle in the kitchen but for novice cooks i think this undermined the whole point of the course. they seemed in a bit of a hurry to get it done and they were clearly working to keep costs low. i booked it through groupon but but it was still poor value for money. if i had paid full price i would have been livid. I did the 'Caribbean Classics' course last weekend with friend and we had a fab time. There was a special offer on so it was well worth the price we paid. There was a last minute change of venue a few days before, but it was nice. Although we didn't have our own individual workstations to cook, we were all able to see the demonstrations and participate in the group demonstration and discussions. The Escovitch fish was lovely! I have a print out of the recipe and will definitely be trying it out at home. At the end of the class, we all sat and ate together (you can even bring your own wine if you want to) Wealso made enough for each of us to take some home. I'm going to do the Thai course next. If you enjoy cooking and want to try out a few new recipes I'd definitely recommend. Come on your own or bring a friend its a very relaxed and friendly environment. read more

The cooking classes run by Conrad and Debbie are excellent!!!! I have done quite of a few of their classes (Jerk Chicken, Fire & Spice) and have always learnt something new in each of them.. The price of the classes is well worth the money! The tuition is really good and their menu are always well-thought out with the dishes that you that want to cook with ingredients that you can actually find in a supermarket! Also like the fact that when we finish cooking we can all sit down and enjoy the fruits of our labour with nice, friendly people like me that enjoy food..looking forward to next few I have booked with Morgan's kitchen! read more

Friends of mine reccomended this course. Cook and Dine my first attempt at 'Caribbean Classics' and I thoroughly enjoyed enjoyed the whole experience. Cooking, socialisng and eating. Fantastic tuition and guidance from Conrad and Debbie. Well worth the money. Wasn't like a class room very relaxed and you could involve yourself more if you so wish. Will definately spread the word. I travelled from Coventry from this and would definately do it again. Thank you guys for a great experience. read more
