After several…read morebusinesses flaked on me, I'm so glad I found Amzil, a husband & wife team who have their act together and provide exemplary service. I needed two services. First, a huge cleanup job which they executed perfectly and for a very reasonable price. They now provide regular service which has kept my property looking great. I couldn't be happier.

Because they are everything I could ever ask for…read more --- --- --- As a first-time home owner, it did not take me long to realize that I did not have any interest in regular lawn maintenance. It's not just the 10-15 minutes it takes to walk over my grass with lawn mower, as I originally assumed. Trimming plants. Blowing leaves. Bagging leaves. Bagging grass. Edging. Clearing the sidewalks. Etc. etc. etc. It takes so much time, and I was beginning to dread my weekends because that was the only time I had to take care of everything. Thank the sweet Lord above that fellow Yelper, Cassie G, introduced me to Amzil Lawns, who happen to live in my neighborhood. It's an absolute crime against humanity that I forgot to ever submit my review for these life savers. I have been a grateful customer since day 1, and will never lose sight of the awesome work that they do. I'm currently moving to another part of town, but I am crossing my fingers that they will follow me over there :) They recently even begun taking credit card payments, which is absolutely worth the $3 surcharge. More points on the card, and less check writing? Win-win! The best prices. Great quality work. Super nice people. You cannot do any better.

Too bad there isn't a zero rating. After a year and a half of service, Joe cancelled our service…read morewith no notice. He always said if we had a special event, he would come out to mow the lawn prior. After all this time I finally asked for this and was told no problem, just last week. So he waited until the day before and cancelled service in "our area" which is Shore Acres. He did a decent job, but I found his service to always be behind schedule, but put up with it. He published a calendar (attached), but rarely stuck to it, blaming the weather when all our neighbors had their lawns serviced during the same time. If you are going to cancel someone's service, you need to give notice and also honor your promise to service their lawn when you agreed to, not wait until the day before and cancel out of the blue, very unprofessional!!!!!!!!!! Attaching Schedule below, the real times he came out recently were 7/26, 8/11, 8/25, 9/3 and 9/22. Most of these times he came was because I had to text and ask when he was coming out as our lawn was embarrassing. As you can see, not even close to being on schedule and the months he should have been out 3x, that didn't happen, with this month being one of them. He should have been out here this week and decided to drop us instead. Going 18 days without getting our lawn mowed and then having to reach out to him to get it done is ridiculous. Rest assured, when it came time to only mow once a month, that was it!! If something doesn't go his way, he packs up his mower and goes home. We always paid on time, even at times reminding him to bill us when he was late sending out invoice. We always picked up our yard prior, even that became more challenging as we never knew when he was coming out. Read the other negative reviews, he doesn't operate like a businessman. Yes, I am bitter, but the facts don't lie. He was supposed to come out 6 times over the past 2 months and came out 4. We were dropped for no cause aside from asking when he was coming. He promised to come out this week and cancelled us instead.

We received quotes from 3 sod/irrigation companies and we selected Rodriquez Sod. Our introduction to Rodriguez Sod was our interactions with Gerald, the sales team member responsible for our account. Gerald provided exemplary customer service, developing a strong and trustful relationship. Gerald maintained communications throughout the project to ensure we were satisfied. Kudos to Gerald who advocated on our behalf as much possible. Gerald provided a level of confidence that contributed greatly in ensuring our experience with Rodriguez Sod was positive. We appreciated Gerald's insistence on the quality of sod that was provided for our job. Gerald delayed the installation by a few days to ensure a good quality of sod was installed. Gerald definitely delivered a level of service that exceeded our expectations and was greatly appreciated by us. Gerald moved to a different position and responsibility for our account was assumed by Jose. Jose brought a high level of experience and education regarding our sod project. We would be remiss in not noting how helpful Vanessa was and the assistance she provided in escalating resolution of replacement of plots of sod that were not greening. The sod installation to our entire yard, approximately 1600 square feet, also included upgrades to our irrigation system to improve the coverage, which was completed by a vendor recommended by Rodriguez Sod. Overall, we are highly pleased with the work completed by Rodriquez Sod. The company honored their guarantee beyond the guarantee period. They sent a team out to replace the failed sections. Our lawn went from a disaster to one of the best lawns in our neighborhood IMHO. We recommend Rodriquez Sod without hesitation and will work with them again in maintaining a lawn we are proud of. Thank you Gerald, Jose, Vanessa and the entire team at Rodriquez Sod! Attached are before and after images of our new and beautiful yard.
