I am so confused by all of the reviews; everyone I have ever communicated with at this organization has been extremely helpful, kind, polite, and extremely accommodating. My only guess is the poor reviews are from people who are expecting more from dental coverage than what dental coverage truly entails. Dental coverage is not the same type of coverage as medical; there is always much more out-of-pocket expense involved. Further, most insurance companies/billers have very precise pre-negotiated contracts and you should always read, in detail, your coverage before deciding on an insurance provider. My primary dental insurance is a PPO and I use Delta/Morgan White as a secondary HMO coverage to further reduce my out-of-pocket. It is well worth it to me but I also did extensive research (with the help of my amazing dental office) prior to making any decisions. I knew exactly what to expect. Sadly, companies get poor reviews when customers fail to educate themselves and have unrealistic expectations. read more

Staff won't provide a copy of the terms of the Delta Dental insurance policy unless you sign up. I simply wish to review the exact language of the policy without having to pay $35 to sign up for a policy, and then having to cancel within 30 days if the terms aren't acceptable (and forfeit the one time non-refundable $35 application fee). I spoke with Tricia (supervisor) and Rafael (subordinate) who are the only two people working in the direct sales dental department. They steered me to a web page but it only has a limited amount of plan details and a limited plan summary. These don't contain the exact terms of the policy. Tricia seems like a nice person, so I'm not sure why she isn't willing to help track down the full policy PDF and send it to me so I can make a fully informed decision on whether or not to spend nearly $800 per year on one of their policies. If someone from Morgan White Group happens to spot this review and can help me out, I will be more than happy to update or delete this review accordingly. read more

Sadly - I had Delta Dental Insurance through Morgan White for 6 years and I learned that I was paying the highest monthly premium for the lowest annual benefit. I was paying $83 and getting benefits at the $36 level. When I asked to have a monthly benefit commensurate with what I was paying - they said they couldn't do that without a waiting period of 6-8 months. They also said the dental insurance world was not subject to the same disclosure laws as the health insurance world so they did not have to inform me of the other plan levels available when they increased my monthly premium rate each year...... I called Delta Dental directly (No need for Morgan White broker in California) and now have a much less expensive plan with better annual benefit. Waiting period waved. Very disappointing. I will continue to find places to report this group. It is unethical what they are doing. read more

All the one star reviews are right. If you see an insurance biller handled by Morgan White Group, avoid them. They also make canceling a plan extremely difficult and keep billing. To the thousands of "happy" customers who may be having trouble canceling their plan, you may contact individualchanges@morganwhite.com, mwacancel@morganwhite.com, cs@morganwhite.com or by fax to (601) 956-3795 to get the ball rolling. As evidenced by the curious Yelp reply, this "business" cares more about the quantity of subscribers than the quality of service. The One star reviews are an ominous sign that something is wrong over there and they have no sense of self-awareness. read more

I paid a high premium for 2 years for delta insurance. They had trouble with an online payment and issued a cancel letter. Poor way to treat a good client, especially when the letter said I had 10 days to update my card. In fact their letter in my file says notice was issue 4/22/19. The letter I received was dated 4/24/19. I'm calling Delta directly. read more

I know better to check Yelp before I proceed with a new business, but this time I didn't. What a mistake! They don't deserve one star. They deserve a MINUS 10 STARS! I am 68 and have been dealing with insurance administrators for years - both individually and as an employer of 60 people for my company for 45 years. Customer Service does not exist at Morgan White, and I can get through to the Pentagon easier than to their representatives, who sound like they are falling asleep on the phone - literally yawning. I am so, so sorry I bound an insurance policy with them. I speak from a lot of experience. They are simply THE WORST ever! Stay away from them! read more

This company is pathetic. Advertised 80% coverage for extractions and implants to me. Ive been paying around 50 a month for 10 months. And ask for my reimbursment for a extraction. 750$ procedure. They payed me 68$ back. I called and not only did they say my monthly payments were increased but i have 30% coverage. All just rediculos. Screw them. read more

Call to see if I still had active coverage because (I get my coverage sue my employer which I don't pay for otherwise I would have known). The representative said that they could not tell me whether or not I was active in coverage because it was a group policy. And their policy is to not let you know if you have coverage because it's a group policy and that I needed to contact my HR representative. Sound silly, I had all the information there I just needed to know whether or not to hit active coverage or not. read more

I recently moved to California and needed to find dental insurance. I did an online quote and was put in touch with Meridith May of Morgan White Group, who was the broker for various dental plans. Well, I did everything on line and thought all was good, until I went to the dentist. I was told I didn't have coverage and the plan I picked was the worst plan, etc. When I turned to Meridith May for help in clarifying, she never returned my phone calls nor e-mails. Instead, she passed the buck to a Nicole Cunningham at her company. Nicole didn't bother to respond to my plea for help, either. Finally, I e-mailed both of them and let them know how disappointed I was in their lack of response. Meridith, being a broker, probably received some sort of compensation for my business, which was the TOP dental plan with Delta for me and my husband. Yet, now that she got her money, she doesn't care about helping me. In the end, I told her I would contact Morgan White's corporate offices, which I did. Even the corporate offices were crappy to me! Finally, I was put in touch with Donna in Morgan White customer service , who helped me. Apparently, I am on the best plan with Delta and just needed to get through the waiting period. Thanks Donna! However, I would recommend to ALL prospective americans looking for any kind of insurance to bypass Morgan White Group and go with another company. Once they get your money, they are no longer there to assist you. Thank you for reading this. read more

I live in NY and I needed to purchase dental insurance because my employer at the time was not providing that particular benefit. I did an online quote and the Morgan White company came up. I applied online and followed up with a phone call. I applied for a PPO plan. When my card arrived it was for an HMO plan. I did not notice that until I visited my dentist. He turned me away. I called Morgan White and had to re-purchase and wait another month until the correct PPO plan became active. I went to the dentist and gave him the policy number that was provided to me. My dentist told me the account was inactive because it had been terminated. I called Morgan White again. Turns out my auto pay credit card had expired. I provided a new expiration date and was told AGAIN, my policy will be activated a month from that date. It has been 8 months since I have tried to go to dentist. I called Morgan White to check on my policy a month ago and I was assured everything was perfect. I called Delta Dental directly today and was informed that my policy was in fact terminated last year (as stated above) and NEVER re-activated. Morgan White is a nightmare. If looking to find a dental insurance broker, please do your research. Stay away from Morgan White. read more

Please do not use Morgan White to assist you in finding a dental plan. This is the worst dental insurance plan I have ever had. This company is a scam. They just want your money and as of this moment I am waiting for a representative to answer the phone (I have been on hold for 15 minutes ) to discuss an automatic charge from this company that I received on my credit card (they recharge you yearly without your prior knowledge). DO NOT use this company....they are FRAUD!!! read more
