We went in to reclaim a vehicle. The lady working was very nice. She started our paperwork. Then…read morethe male (owner?) came in and was fairly pleasant. He went to get my car and bring it to the front. At that point she asked me to sign a "vehicle condition report" I am uncomfortable signing off on something like that without inspecting the car first. This is where it all started to go south. This was nothing on the people as individuals- it was about blindly signing something. We went out and looked the car over. I know they used tools to open the car so checked for the obvious, tool marks. The black vinyl trim around the door to my car was indeed scuffed up. I pointed it out to the male, who was very quite insistent that there was No possible way his tools did that. I was just as insistent that it was not like that before. I explained I have OCD and know where all of the damaged bits are on my car. I seriously doubt it would take more than 15 mins to fix the damage and honestly wasn't all that concerned about it. I asked that it be included on the "vehicle condition report" simply because I reallllllly believe in CYA. The guy just seemed to get madder and madder. Then he did it, he crossed the line. He inferred that I knew the damage was there and was trying to scam him. He said he found my behavior odd. Stating that it was weird to him how I zeroed in on the door. Almost like I knew what was there. Well, as I said I have OCD, I checked the door because I knew it was a likely area to be damaged during his operation. I also checked the bumpers etc, but they where fine. I eyed the contents of the vehicle since I was not given keys and everything was just as I had left it- nothing to raise my suspicions so it wasn't a big deal to me. He just kept going on about how people try to scam him for money by complaining about pre-existing damage. By this point I had been dealing with everything as graciously and politely as I could despite having issues at every turn for 8 hours straight. Having my integrity questioned and my veracity doubted was the final straw. I broke down in tears and said, "If I were truly trying to scam you, I'd mention the torn apron under the front bumper. But I didn't and I'm not." I tried to report him to the consumer group but she said I'd have to deal with him to get the damage fixed. Aside from making me feel so horrible, he also scared me a bit and I'd rather not have to ever deal with him again.

I would give 0 stars if I could I'm only writing this review…read moreso anyone who gets their car repoed makes sure to check their car before taking it home. They damaged my car when they backed out of my drive way. I didn't realize it till I washed it the day after picking it up. They also obviously took it for a "joy ride" because when I started it it said it had been driven last for 3 miles. I'm pretty sure the travel distance between Santa Barbara ( where they picked it up) and Santa Maria (their location) is 56 miles. They're also very rude. The front desk lady acts like she owns your car, LOL. We only got our car repoed because it was on auto pay and we forgot to change our new bank info. Anyway they are something else. I spoke to Audi financial and I hope they don't use this company every again to repo their cars. They damage every single car they pick up. Just read the reviews below.
