This is an enthusiastic review of Schnucks floral departments...with some reservations. IMO…read moreSchnucks has the best selection of fresh flowers in Jefferson City. This is particularly true if you shop on the day after deliveries. It is not true if you are shopping on Sunday and on other occasions when they are unaccountably out of everything. Their assortment of premade arrangements is abysmal, unimaginative and expensive. They do not ever seem to have exotic flowers such as proteas, gerbera daisies, bear grass, freesia, etc. If you buy flowers here, make sure the ones you select have not been in dry or dirty buckets. I frequently see wilted bunches as well as plants that are dead or dying. So it is not a sure thing but it is so much better than other grocery stores and downtown florists who don't even display single stems or bunches. And are close lipped about on hand merchandise that seems to be frequently old. This is just my experience. Overall I can usually make a lovely vase arrangement for $30 or less with flowers that will last a week or 10 days. I think the biggest problem for Schnucks is that there is no floral designer/manager, just an overburdened employee from another department who struggles to do the best she can

Others told me my countertops were not going to look good because I had to have a seam in one side. Well...the 14 day installation crew installed them and the seam hardly shows. The seam was due to the size of my countertops - not 14 day's issues. They also made matching window sills for my bathrooms. I couldn't be happier. It all matches and they are the best!!

We found a tractor listed at Kilmer, Mark was great to work with. He answered the phone every time I called, and sent detailed pictures when I asked for them. Great experience, very recommended.

I had a poor experience here involving a Form 4 submission for a suppressor. The store failed to…read moreproperly submit my digital fingerprints, which caused the ATF to return the application after about six weeks. They also didn't notify me; I had to call them myself after it had been rejected. Ultimately, I chose to transfer the suppressor to a more competent FFL. Upon requesting this Form 3 transfer, I had to explain to them what a Form 3 was. Then, even though submitting fingerprints was their responsibility, they insisted I pay a transfer fee and shipping. I asked that the fee be waived due to their error, and was accused of lying and told the failed submission was entirely my fault. After some discussion, I managed to get the fee reduced, but I would not recommend using this business if you value customer service. Generally, it's bad form to accuse your customer of lying in a last-ditch CYA effort.
