Called to see what areas they serviced and was pleasantly surprised that they covered Winnemucca. The nice woman we spoke with set us up an appointment that was sooner than expected, convenient and actually saved us money. Everything was so professional and organized. The truck showed up as scheduled. Then "Dalton" looked at the area we needed cut, confirmed what we wanted accomplish, and went straight to work. He was very accurate, precise, and pleasant. also, the job was done in half the time we expected. This was a totally stress free job that you just don't come across but once in a blue moon. Who would have thought living on the 10th floor your balcony would flood. Well it did! So I looked around at some of the neighbors to see what they installed as way for the water to drain. Now if it was a flat roof, you would want scuppers. If it was an enclosed patio, you would want weep holes. How do I explain what I need to a contractor?? It's really hard to find someone to do a job when it's difficult to explain what you need. Our building manager recommended a Landscaper. But after 6 calls and 2 months of waiting, I assumed they just didn't want to a small job. So I got a recommendation from Chris (contractor at The Montage, downtown Reno) to call Reno Concrete. But he really didn't know anyone personally. So I called my good friend Grant Dalen (Dalen Painting) and asked if he knew anyone at Reno Concrete. Grant knows everyone in Construction and in the Rodeo in Reno. Yes, said Grant, I know Mike (Reno Concrete), I'll give him a call. They didn't do the kind of work I needed, but knew who did. Told me to call Justin Nelson of Morgan Construction, Inc. Concrete Cutting. Who knew there was such a business! Called Justin and received a call back the next day. Made an appointment for the following Monday, he came up looked at the job, gave me a price and said he could do it on Friday. When Leif (laborer) arrived, he was very pleasant, knew exactly what to do and got around to taking care of business. Could not believe how quickly the 4" thick holes were drilled for my "weep holes." It's all in having the right tools for the job. And, of course, knowing how to use them. What they've done here is to drill the holes on a slight angle, then insert a piece (2') of PVC pipe so water drains away from lower level balconies and windows. Leif is downstairs now cutting the pipe. He'll bring them up, clean up the mess on the patio and then silicon the pipe into the holes. Walla! No more floods on the 10th floor ... hopefully, will have to wait for the next major rainfall, but at least now the water has a way out. I'm not sure of the extent of the work they do, but for what I needed they were prompt, friendly, efficient and I think reasonably priced. read more

This company is amazing. They are very professional and know what they are doing. I had a driveway extension created and due to roots from my tree I had to have two slabs removed and roots cut and new slabs poured. They were quick, clean and got the jobs done in no time. Jori D read more

We were very impressed with Morgan Construction. We had a very small concrete job, yet they fit us into their schedule right away, were reasonably priced, and were very professional. I have used Morgan Construction twice in the 6 months on an addition foundation and concrete cutting for my retirement home. Established in 1998.

Morgan Construction, Inc. was founded by Jay Morgan in 1998, when he began offering concrete and asphalt cutting services to the Reno/Sparks metropolitan area. Since that time Jay has steadily grown the business to include all of Northern Nevada, and has added many new services it provides to handle his customers most difficult needs, and a vast array of applications. These services include, but are not limited to: core drilling, wall sawing, hand sawing, ring sawing, dragon sawing, electric flat sawing, concrete demo, and pour back. Most recently adding concrete scanning services through a sister company, which will provide his customers with yet another layer of service.

Meet the Business Owner: Jay M.

Jay had been cutting concrete and asphalt for various companies for over 12 years, when he decided to venture out on his own in 1998. Since founding Morgan Construction, Inc., Jay continued to work hands-on in the field to ensure that his customers received the quality of workmanship and a level of service that they could rely on from project to project. Jay took pride in being able to offer a quick response time, and accommodated his customers' special needs in order to grow his business one happy customer at a time. As his business grew to more than what he could physically keep up with - he began purchasing saw trucks and hiring saw cutters in order to continue to grow his business. This allowed him to explore other services he could provide his customers.

In Nov/Dec 2025, Nevada Pavers & Stone completely renovated our front yard, and I can say they do…read moregreat work at very reasonable prices. We decided to switch from a yard full of grass to a mostly-xeriscaped yard. The project included removing the existing grass, shrubs, sprinklers, concrete walkway and water lines and replacing them with pavers, rock, creek bed pebbles, shrubs, boulders, decorative lighting, drip system, electrical lines attached to timers, a mailbox pillar, and an additional step added to the entryway. After researching many companies and interviewing four, we ended up choosing Nevada Pavers & Stone. Rafael, the owner, spent a lot of time with us to determine exactly what we wanted and he was also very patient as we requested changes both before the project started and during the renovation, clearly stating if a change was included or if it would be an additional cost so there would be no surprises. Once he and his crew started the job, they did not want to stop until they finished. I mention this because often contractors will start a project, only to leave in the middle of it to work on someone else's project then return at a later date. We appreciated that this was not the case with Nevada Pavers & Stone. The crew was ready to work by 8 a.m. every morning, sometimes earlier. They worked hard all day, every day (at times they were actually jogging when transferring materials from the truck to the yard) and were respectful of our property and our neighbors' property, cleaning up as they went and at the end of each workday. They were also professionals - they knew what was expected and how to do it, and we never heard loud voices, questionable language, or loud music (in fact I did not hear any music at all, which I would not have minded). The project included many drip lines and electrical wire being run for shrubs and lighting, all of which are nicely hidden as they were buried under the new ground cover. Rafael also built a pillar for our mailbox, to which he added a decorative light on top and lighted address numbers on the front. We are very happy with our front yard. If you need a landscape design company, Nevada Pavers & Stone, LLC should be on your very short list of companies to contact.

Once complete, the turf is in need of some touch ups that were promised. However, as soon as they had the final check they have ignored all my calls. Additionally, they did not clean up their mess. Our street was left with dirt, nails, cigarettes, and oil stains. I have reached out to the project manager and management but have gotten no where. I'd look elsewhere for your next project.

Requested bids and designs to remove all the grass in the backyard, install sitting walls around trees with flag stone steps and zero scape setting. The rabbits and voles wreaked havoc in our backyard. We've had to replace our lawn twice. Jeff with Rock Solid Landscaping responded. We agreed to meet and walk the yard. We wanted 3 mounds with larger rocks around with native plants. The crew started everyday at 7am and worked until 4pm. They were always on time and worked a full day. This job was completed in 2 weeks. They delivered a porta potty, bobcat in front of our home. They put cones for safety. They are very organized, when dirt, rocks were delivered they moved to backyard. Then they swept the street and/or driveway to keep clean. Our neighbors complemented on the nice job of keeping street clean. Juan Carlos and his 2 workers were very well organized. They always cleaned up at the end of the day. I asked for a few Day Lillie's be transplanted back into the area. They installed a new drip system with an extension for me to plant my small veggie garden. Perry and all of his employees were on time, professional and wonderful to work with. All of the communication was easy. Perry is the owner and his business model is all about the customer being happy. He runs his company so different than most, he only works on one job at a time. We have a huge backyard, and wanted some changes made in the front yard, our job went from dirt to complete in two weeks and one day. Perry and all of his employees did the work with great care to the details that make it perfect. Taking additional time to make the cuts fit together perfectly. Perry also did some unexpected extra's that added to the design, like adding a boulder on the side of the walkway. Adding some hills to give the yard some depth. Our yard, is definitely a work of art because of choosing All Around Town. So happy we did, you will be too! Note: in the pictures the empty area in the middle of the walkway is waiting for a fountain that has not arrived yet, Perry and his guys have it all prepped and ready to go when it gets here.

Much of the work he did was fine a couple years later although some of the pavers have raised,…read moredropped or shifted. complaint is follow-up will be non existent once he leaves your site. One of his guys made several cuts into a dark border paver which is very noticeable. I asked him to come out and replace it but he never did. The biggest thing though and this is huge is he did not put a regulator in the drip system that he installed. The house pressure is 65psi which is over twice max pressure for drip irrigation. I am regularly having to repair the system as lines are popping off or splitting. this season I will be forced to tear up his work in order to put a regulator before his valves, not pleased.

They have abusive workman that do not care how they speak to you, one of their workmen a dark haired bearded man, told me to 'F off' when they were working in my mothers neighborhood. He did not block off the driveway I was trying to use, there were no cones or signage anywhere, then kept waving me off like I knew what he wanted and would not let me pass. I called the office and told them how I was treated, they knew exactly who it was that spoke to me in that manner, funny, why would you keep an employee that talked to people that way? read more
