Extremely Frustrating Intake Process -- No One Understood My Case I contacted Morgan & Morgan hoping to speak with someone knowledgeable about a product liability injury involving a vehicle defect. Instead, I was bounced between five different intake workers, none of whom understood the basic nature of my case. Every person I spoke with was clearly reading from a script and had no training in product liability, design defects, or professional‑driver injuries. I explained the situation repeatedly, in clear detail, and each time I was met with confusion. Instead of escalating me to someone qualified, they simply told me, "We can't help you." My issue isn't with the individuals themselves -- it's with the system Morgan & Morgan uses. They rely on undertrained call‑center staff to make decisions they are not equipped to make. When someone cannot comprehend the facts being presented, they cannot make a valid determination about whether a case has merit. I was a victim of a dog bite case, I went to ER and got a huge medical bill, then I paid out of pocket for my dog who was severely injured about $3k or more and I then confided in Morgan firm because a good friend of my worked there and trust them. The only thing she was worried about was a check that she received for 100 000 dollars. She wasn't returning my calls and I fired her because she wasn't doing anything for me and my case. I had asked her a question concerning the speed that the driver was going, and her answer was that even if the driver was going a mile a minute my husband still could've still died. I was in an auto accident June 8. I called Morgan and Morgan and they immediately started helping me with advice and doctors appointment.

Ours wasn't a large money case, but they took it on July 3, 2024. Communication was poor from the start. The first case worker we got was terminated after we complained about them. We asked the second person we got to please explain to us how cases work since we've never had an accident with an injury. We got a very high-level answer and zero guidance on what to expect. The only time we got news is if I emailed and asked. My last email from 2 months ago went unanswered. The accident was with a dump truck, and the insurance provided at the time of the accident wasn't valid. They said they couldn't find insurance so they filed a law suit. The company that hit us didn't show up to court and since no insurance could be found they dropped our case. This just doesn't make sense to me. Someone can just not show to court and that's the end of it? Businesses can have large trucks on the road without coverage and get away with it? Their ads claiming they are the best with truck accidents is completely false. read more

My case was ultimately lost not because it lacked merit but due to a severe lack of communication and professional diligence by my legal team. Specifically, the firm failed to provide critical maintenance evidence and proper documentation during the discovery phase. Because this information was not submitted, the judge issued a Summary Judgment in favor of the defendant, ending my case prematurely. Throughout the process, communication was nearly non-existent. This experience was extremely disappointing. The process felt disorganized, repetitive, and ultimately unhelpful. And the police came and took a police report. but if you don't have a clear cut case, sometimes even if you're rear-ended, if it's not clearly directly behind you, it makes the case difficult unfortunately these days the insurance companies are so horrible that you have to get a lawyer in order to be able to get anything if you're gonna lose time from work or anything else you have to go to physical therapy for a while and lose work. It's a tough world now it's not the same as it used to be.. in my case because it was a sovereign entity that Morgan and Morgan would be the only ones that would have the ability to get a settlement even though it's clear cut that they're the ones who were at fault or one of the other big law firms. and if they happen to take your case and give it to one of their other law firms that deals with specialty type cases like yours, don't be upset don't get angry at them and make sure that you work with the new lawyer and they will make sure that you get something and that your medical bills get paid and that's why they do that because the big law firm lawyers they're there to deal with those big cases that you see on the billboards and sometimes they can't take every case and so they have other lawyers that they work with but trust that they know what the best lawyer is to get you what it is they can I hope this was helpful . unfortunately, driving for Uber. I give 2 stars only because in the beginning working with Abbi, was great. She was very hands-on and supportive. However, when my case was transferred over to the Paralegals, I was told they would be in touch within 48 hours. I never heard from them. After a few months, I reached out to Abbi who reached out to them, and I finally got a heads-up on my case. There were 2 times that I was to do depositions but was not notified. I finally have2 depositions, and my lawyer Dane Jordan was helpful and informative. When it came down to the settlement meeting, prior to the meeting I had yet to hear from Mr. Jordan, I reached out to Joanne Morgan, paralegal and received a message back that I will hear from Kateem shortly. I had never heard of or knew who Kateem was. I was quick to find out that Kateem was a brand new lawyer? When he called me, he said that Mr. Jordan had an emergency and could not make it. HE SHOULD HAVE POSTPONED!!! Instead, he sent Kateem who was pleasant; but had never done a settlement meeting by himself; it was obvious. He was nervous, stammering and would say one thing to me in the side room and then another to the judge presiding in the settlement. it was horrifying. You would think I would have gotten a discount from their bill for not having my lawyer there, but no, they took their money in full.
