The attorney did not win my case, I WON MY CASE.Even my attorney confirmed it. Then, I called Morgan and Morgan for 2 additional cases that they did not ant to take, one case they refused, I later learned they had taken a very similar case before. I was very disappointed with my experience with Morgan and Morgan. I was in a car accident and contacted them to handle my case. It seemed as though there was really no communication and could never get in touch with any one when i needed to. I walked away with next to nothing from my case. They requested to go to litigation almost instantly without even trying to come to an agreement. When I said I did not really want to go to litigation I was pretty much talked into it, I did not feel as though they tried hard enough to come to an agreement without the litigation. As soon as I signed for litigation they had a settlement of 20k, that was a red flag because I really feel like they did not have to even take it to litigation. Then came the medical bills, it was as if they did not even attempt to get them lowered. I ended up paying 9k in medical bills( I don't even think this was accurate because it should not have been this much), Morgan and Morgan walked away with 8k, and i ended up with about 3k. This makes absolutely no sense to me at all. They also held back 200.00 saying it was in case they had any bills come in that were not there already, and of course after the 90 days period it still took forever to get that money back and of course I did not get the full 200 back, but we already knew they were going to take something out of that as well! The attorneys they have working for them do not give it their all and will try to go to litigation instantly so they can get the higher fees. Not to mention they are never on the same page with each other, I would have one person tell me one thing and the next person tell me something else. I had to make a complaint three times to even get them to call me back when I had questions. They not only tried to talk me into a lower settlement, They held part back claiming 'it's for future bills" and anything not spent on bills would be returned after 60 days. Also when they said the sent the original settlement check, it never came and they had to send it out 3 different times, or so they say. I finally got it when the FedExed it. Oh how I get a good chuckle with what this group tries to sell you. A woman slips in the grocery store and the next day, she contacts them and what do you know, they got her 4 times the amount the store offered her! Well my story wasn't quite a exciting. TLDR: I settle my case on valentines day of 2024. I am waiting to recieved my settlement check and I would call to ask for an update but would be ghosted or have my voicemails not returned even when marking them urgent. If i had the choice, I probably wouldve choose a different law firm because i dont like not being updated at all. I would even accept an email at this point. I am still waiting as of this day.. I got a work injury 10 days before my wedding (still got married on the day planned just had to wear a boot for my leg and unfortunately couldnt stand long due to a herniated disk in my lower back) and hired morgan and morgan after a year of trying to fight on my own to get any help. My lawyer was easy to work with and handled everything mostly. There were times i couldnt answer her call and we communicated through email due to me having to work night shifts and attend school during the day. Eventually, i ended up settling my case around valentine's day of 2024. Because i work around 2 other peoples' work schedules, I dont have the freedom to go to the office. I try calling my lawyer who worked on my case and the office to know when I would have to come in to pick up my settlement check, but i would either be sent to voicemail or no one would return my calls. I dont mind the wait, I just hate being ghosted and not given an update or time frame to expect after we passed the initial time frame. I am even willing to accept an email just stating "hey its taken a little longer than expected and we currently dont have an estimated time frame, but we will keep in touch at least once a week to give you an update". I just want to give some preliminary feedback for the first time using them. I got into an injury accident. They are doing great on the injury part but they are falling way short in helping and fighting for me against my own auto insurance company Geico. Geico got the outer damage to my vehicle fixed up but it turns out that the offender actually totaled my engine and needs to be replaced. Geico says we don't think she did it and we won't pay for it. I have diagnostic reports stating that the engine damage was caused during the accident. The first report said the car and engine was fine just 6 days before the accident and when I got the car back from repair got a second report saying damage to my engine. Morgan and Morgan say we don't handle the damaged part of your vehicle you have to talk to Geico but M&M says they do have a dept that will help you get some money back but first I WILL HAVE TO REPAIR THE $6,500 engine and then get some money back. I am the victim. You are supposed to be my lawyers fighting for me. I am not made whole. So in my opinion, if there is going to be a lot of not so straightforward and complicated damage to your car in an accident, I cannot suggest Morgan & Morgan and they are not experienced in accident damage and for some reason won't take on Geico insurance. So now I have to figure out on how to sue Geico Insurance company. They might be great on the injury part of the accident but not the whole picture part. If there is any lawyers out there that is not afraid to take on Geico insurance to sue so they can total my vehicle please let me know.
