We were very happy with each phase of our first day with this company. They set us up with their 1st available appointment that was over a month out, but put us on a call earlier list if there is a cancellation. This was great for us, because as retirees we could be available at a days notice. Both of us got calls to come in earlier than our scheduled appointments. Front desk staff were very efficient at processing Maggie & I as 1st time patients. The dental team makes the 1st appointment 2hrs long to do a very thorough exam. They want your input to get your level of involvement in the dental care process. The equipment they have is top of the industry standard. It gives the patient a good view of dental issues, allowing a more knowledgeable choice by patient & Dentist. We never felt pressured to additional care that wasn't truly required at the present time. We were given a break down priority list of items needed & told they would work with us on payment steps based on the priority list. Even given discounts on how payments can be made. I see them on Monday for 1st step in fixing some of my issues. We highly recommend this Dental Care Family

After many years of going to Sandi for her patient-centered policies, she has "gone corporate." Since expanding her practice, Sandi now forces patients into wholly unnecessary profit-oriented processes, explaining it away by claiming "liability" concerns for herself. In the past she was warm and friendly. Wow did she turn cold when I questioned her dramatic reversal of her own health care beliefs and commitments. In fact, I checked with the ADA and her assertions about "mandatory" procedures are simply wrong. But she would rather make the money than stand by her own commitments that I trusted. In fact, I sat in her waiting area and listened to her literally pitch one of her new dental procedures to another patient. (A pitch that had the feel of needing to justify the high cost of an expensive equipment purchase.) Based on how happy I was with her approach, I had referred several people to her. I am now embarrassed to have so enthusiastically recommended her and withdraw my endorsement.

A 2nd opinion was requested, which nobody has followed up on with me. I told them I need 31 crowned because that is the one hurting me. 3rd appointment They were going to crown 30, not 31, they have no nitrous available, I waited nearly and hour to see a dentsit. They did the prep work for the crown and then the dentist came in and said he couldn't do a crown or he wasn't sure if he could, and I should see an endontist to figure that out. It was already hurting me, so I said go ahead and pull it. Again, no nitrous in the office at all. He yanked on my face for at least an hour, and said I'd have to go to an oral surgeon to finish the job. The battery kept running out on his headlamp, they didn't have the tools to finish the job, and there seemed to be other equipment lacking. The dentist said he'd pay for whatever my insurance didn't cover at the oral surgeon, so that was decent. He made the appointment, and I went there the next day. It took the oral surgeon about 3 minutes to get the roots out. I had to suffer through another round of novocane shots in the same spots as the day before. As far as the office is concerned, there seems to be communication problems with regard to appointments and they seem to be overbooking patients. I will be looking for a new dentist again. Sigh.

In the 12 years I've been going here with my three kids, only once did I have such an experience-- a filling-happy dentist who initially told me (after digging and digging) that I needed 3 filings (at the age of 46, and never having had one in my life), but who strangely couldn't find the third one when I went back for the procedure. (I've put him out of my mind because I never saw him again.) Parking is a breeze, and wait times are very rarely longer than five or ten minutes. In fact, they tell you to complain if you've been waiting 20. The lobby and facility are sparkling clean, and visits are generally pretty quick. The clinicians here are lovely, but just when you get hooked on an awesome doc, they leave (it's a residency after all), and you gotta make friends with somebody new. Admittedly, billing protocols are sometimes flawed, and my middle child recently experienced issue after issue with appointment cancellations and incorrect billing and multi-visit requirements, but when we finally got her into the surgery clinic, the staff were freaking awesome. Special shout out to CHELSEA, who's got the awesomest bedside manner in town! My kid literally wept for fear (and maybe from anesthesia) that she might not have thanked Chelsea enough for the unparalleled pre-surgery and post-surgery vibe. Truly, even if the docs had been devoid of humanity, she would have still made the experience fun. THANKS CHELSEA AND TEAM! The kid is doing great. Five stars even with recent billing issues and appointment cancellations, because I really can't imagine a better clinical experience. ...Except maybe one that has complimentary Cinnabons and gourmet coffee in the lobby.

They never told me it wasn't covered and left me with the bill. Not good service in my opinion. My old dentist always told me what was covered and if he reccomend something that wasn't covered he explained why he thought it was better and he let me decide. Sadly he has retired now and I am going to have to find a more transparent dentist than Joe Valles
