I recently messed up my own eyebrows and came in to have them evened out. To my surprise, Susan remembered me! Roughly 10 years had passed since I came to her for eyebrow threading and it was such a sweet moment to know that she still recognized me, now as an adult. As for my eyebrows, I love them! I don't have anything too extravagant done to my brows, just a clean up and sometimes tinted. I have always preferred threading over waxing, I feel like it lasts longer, and the results look better. Shila's location on Rainbow is very convenient for me, especially being right by Massage Envy so I can have a self-care day :) I took off a star, for only a few reasons. One is the price increase. I get it, the way costs are right now a lot of places are. However, the very reasonable cost made Sheila's Eyebrows stand out more over the rest before. If you have an appointment, this should be prioritized over any walk-ins that come after you. Common sense right? Sometimes they are so busy they overlook who came in before who and don't even look at the sign-in sheet to see if you have an appointment. There was only one time I was disappointed with my eyebrows after having them threaded here. Just imagine your eyebrows cut short in half. I learned a lesson, find the girls that do a great job and stick with them. I also came a couple of months ago, and one of the girls was very rude. She had a frown the whole time, didn't say thank you, I am not even sure why I tipped her, she was so ungrateful. With all of that being said, I highly recommend Shila and Sarah. I brought in inspiration photos and specifically asked for long, soft, blended layers. Instead, I left with numerous very short pieces throughout the top and sides of my hair that stick out and don't blend with the rest of my hair. The final result looked nothing like what I had requested, and I was genuinely upset when I got home and was able to look at my hair more closely. After I posted my review, the salon reached out promptly. They offered to have another stylist fix my hair, but I declined because I didn't want to risk losing even more length trying to correct a haircut that was already much shorter than I wanted in certain areas. They also refunded me in full, which I genuinely appreciate and believe was the right thing to do. The salon asked if I would remove my one-star review because they had refunded me. While I appreciate their effort to resolve the situation, I don't feel it's fair to remove an honest review that reflects my actual experience. Reviews exist to help future clients make informed decisions, and my haircut experience was real. A refund addressed the financial aspect of the service, but it didn't undo the haircut or how upset I was with the result. I do want to give the salon credit for their customer service after the fact. They responded respectfully, offered a solution, and refunded me without making the process difficult. However, I'm still disappointed with the haircut itself and, because of that experience, I won't be returning.
