During my last visit, I came with a friend and the staff member behind the counter was not only friendly but also had a great sense of humor. I couldn't find my ID (it was hiding behind my phone, classic me), and the staff cracked a joke that had us both laughing. I can't really comment on how helpful the staff are with giving suggestions since we knew what we wanted, but their friendliness definitely made a positive impression. They also have a good array of sake at the back. Wide price range from $8 bottles of crap to $60 bottles of excellent wines from legit names. They also have decent hours: I believe they're open every day and stay open fairly late (although the hours on Google were incorrect today, it said until 10 and they closed at 8 so I was glad I called). Their main downside is the staff working. It's a slew of very very nice, young college age women who are as sweet as can be but know nothing about wine. This is not meant as judgmental, I also knew nothing about wine at their age, but you simply cannot establish yourself as a serious wine shop without employees who can answer basic questions about what's in stock. Again, they have all been extremely nice. I don't blame the employees for this but just a note to the owners that some training would be extremely beneficial. Overall will absolutely go back. No competition in collegetown.

We have all lived in the area our whole lives and love this community. We have owned businesses locally for several years and greatly appreciate everything this area has to offer. We love working with others and up until about two years ago it was always our plan to someday open a wedding venue. Unfortunately for us, and the rest of the world, Covid-19 changed our plans. The business’s we own were some of the most effected by Covid restrictions and that forced us to change our outlook and lead us to where we are today. It’s funny how things work out sometimes but we couldn’t be more happy and proud with the business we have established. We are located at 354 Grant Ave Road in the town of Sennett in the former Moran, Moran, and Daulphin building and can not wait to open our doors to everyone this Tuesday, March 15th. Heading down to wine country, I didn't think about needing wine for the first night we were there…read more Sunny's to the rescue! It's a mix of several different things. They have a few gas pumps, a small grocery mart, and just recently they added a liquor store in the adjacent building. It was 7pm on a Friday night, and I was expecting to get owned in high prices, because they were the only liquor store for miles. Holy cow, their selection is pretty solid for being basically in the middle of no where. Liquor, wine, and a whole wall of local wines! The best part about it was the prices were just what I would pay back in Rochester. They were right in line. I bought a bottle of Anthony Road Red and a bottle of Heron Hill Eclipse red. A quick conversation with the store owner, Sunny, and learned he is constantly trying new wines weekly to see if he wants to carry them. Impressive for such a small operation Don't be mislead, the building looks a little dodgy, but the treasure is inside!
