It's a tiny, tiny place with a madhouse vibe and a set of scaffolding composing the second level of seating. Assuredly not up to fire code, but more charming as a result. The walls and ceiling are covered with... Stuff. Photographs of nude women, shoes, Christmas lights, mannequin parts, artwork, toys, etc. There's no logic to any of it and it's intoxicatingly surreal. It seems to, in a certain regard, cater to the gay scene in Valencia. That being said, it is not a "gay bar," and the majority of customers are heterosexual. They only have Mahou on tap, but they have a sizable selection of liquor--including the only bottle of Southern Comfort I saw in Spain. Not good for large groups. It's a quiet place with an intimate vibe and a clientele largely composed of regulars. But if you're anywhere near it, Nou Pernil Doç demands you stop by for a drink.

I felt that they were trying too hard to be creative with the menu, and the execution was poor. On the plus side, service was amazing. I'd definitely go back for drinks, but I'd go elsewhere for dinner.
