He refused to prescribe antibiotics until it actually got infected to the point where I was oozing yellow pus out of the wound. This led to a permanent dimple/indent on my face. 2) I asked him about a mucocele that developed on my lip (he was the only one who took my insurance at that time and I wanted to know what it was at least). I asked what to do about it and he said, "bite it to pop it." Seriously? That's exactly what NOT to do after I researched. I realize he might've been joking but he offered no medical advice whatsoever. Luckily it went away without surgery but regardless, I would've never went back to him for surgery or anything else anyways. Do yourself a favor and avoid AT ALL COSTS. Even if he's the only one who takes your insurance, do not go to him. In all my experience with him, he's always deflected blame, never took responsibility, apologized, and always acted like he couldn't care less.
