When it came time to make the payment, I attempted to pay twice, but both times I was told that the card machine was broken. At the time, I was eight months pregnant. Shortly after, I had to be induced early due to complications. Five days after giving birth, I suffered a severe hemorrhage and went into cardiac arrest. Doctors performed CPR on me for about 30 minutes, and I was placed in a coma for two weeks. When I woke up, I had undergone multiple surgeries and had to learn how to walk again. My entire focus during that time was on surviving and recovering. Because of everything that happened, the payments had completely slipped my mind and I had honestly forgotten all about it during my recovery. During that time, the owner contacted me regarding two missed payments totaling $2,700. She told me that emails had been sent, but I never received any communication. When I explained the medical emergency and everything I had been through, I was met with a very rude response and was told that I needed to pay the full amount immediately or I would be sued. I never said that I wouldn't pay what was owed. However, I was extremely disappointed by the complete lack of compassion and understanding given the life-threatening situation I had just gone through. I was given no time or flexibility to arrange payment, even though I had been unable to work for quite some time due to multiple surgeries and a long recovery. A little compassion and understanding during such a difficult time would have made a big difference.

We truly couldn't ask for a better place for them to grow and learn. The staff is absolutely amazing--every teacher knows our kids so well and cares for them like family. You can tell how much love and intention goes into every classroom. The chef is wonderful, and the healthy food program is such a huge plus. Our kids eat better here than they do at home most days! The Spanish immersion program has been another highlight--it's incredible to see how naturally our children are picking up new language skills. Beyond the day-to-day care, what really makes The Village special is the sense of community. When our family went through a medical event, the daycare staff and families immediately surrounded us with support. They organized a meal train, dropped off food/snacks for the hospital, offered to help with pickups, and did whatever they could to lighten our load during a difficult time. We're so grateful to have found a place that feels like an extension of our home and for all three of our children to learn, play, and thrive.

Note to parents: come have lunch with them when it's ravioli...yum! The sports are amazing. My kids have been in basketball, volleyball, and track. They call it On Track, because it's always leaning toward how you can deepen your relationship with God. For only a few thousand dollars, they sure teach a whole lot. My wife is a special education teacher and they are trying to get more staff. Please consider joining the staff at our school, or maybe volunteer for lunch. It helps our school community. We did not realize how many shapes he knew, and this is a direct testament to how amazing the teachers are at Goddard. The bar was pretty low for us when we started; we were hoping to find a new daycare that would minimally change a diaper more than twice a day. And we have gotten so much more!! I saw one teacher cry tears of joy because her student was graduating to the next level; that's how much she cared about her kids. The first time my son pooped on the potty, every single teacher at pickup (and the director!!) told me how they celebrated with him! I'm so grateful for the amazing curriculum and the caring staff. This is the village we didn't know we needed, and I'm grateful for everything they provide.

Her teacher is the sweetest and always greets you with a smile. I have worked at this school since December of 2021 and they have been incredible to me as an employer. Not only did they allow me the medical leave I needed at short notice, but they accepted me back after 2 months with open arms. They are some of the kindest and most understanding people I've ever met and I love working here! We're like a family. Not only do they treat their staff well but we have some of the best staff and teachers for the children. We love all of our kids and they love us!
