BUT. Sofia's Cafe has proved me otherwise. This cute cafe & tea shop that recently relocated from Kronberg is such a delightful find. The interior reminds me of a typical British tea time joint that is utterly beyond adorable and quite dainty. The seating is plentiful and the larger windows offer the perfect amount of natural daylight to illuminate this quaint place. I ordered the blueberry latte (because I like to try new things, I mean c'mon!) and it was delicious! It tasted like a blueberry milkshake. Or an Asian milky blueberry chewy candy. We also ordered the Honey Toast which comes with a giant dollop of fluffy whipped cream & drizzle of honey and the strawberry vanilla cake which was equally delicious and so ever moist. I've been living in Germany for close to 3 months and am a dessert afficionado and honestly have not tasted anything that delicious here until now. Sofia's Cafe knows how to do desserts right. They were so good that I got a slice of oreo cake and carrot cake to go (I'm a fatty- don't judge). Both were divine and also not like the uber sweet American cakes back in the US. There is also a brunch menu that I will have to come back to review on since I can't get over how cute this place is.
