I received testing services here because my Psychiatrist's office requires it before they allow…read moreclients to receive stimulant medication for ADHD. He sent me there as more of a formality because he felt certain that my symptoms matched the disorder. When I arrived (slightly late--poor time management who would have guessed!) I felt rushed and vaguely inhuman. I worked with a soon-to-be PsyD who seemed unsure of what he was doing. The tests used seemed pretty archaic (people still use Rorshac tests?), and though I understand that the testing process doesn't allow for too much banter, I felt completely out of my element in a way that I had never felt while being treated for my mental illness and largely unheard. When I received my results that I was Bipolar I was in shock. I gave the diagnosis some thought and thoroughly vetted the pdf of the results and felt completely misread. He stated that I was "too smart to have ADHD" despite ticking off nearly all of the boxes indicated in the DSM 5, having a high score on both self and other reports, and being a prospect for diagnosis according to 4 out of the 5 brown ADHD test results. I had the results sent to both my Psychiatrist and Psychologist and they both were just as surprised and very skeptical. They both said that the document did not make any convincing arguments for bipolar disorder and advised me to ignore the results. My psychiatrist also mentioned that other clients had significant issues and they have stopped referring them.

I don't know what happened to Dr. Dieperink. She used to be kind and helpful. The last time I saw…read moreher she was condescending and wrote hurtful and incorrect things in her notes from the session. Naturally, being treated this way has a damaging effect on a person. This kind of medical professional should always operate from a trauma-informed perspective, which she does not. Such a disappointment.

I normally go to the Brooklyn Park or Coon Rapids location, but since this was just a lab test, I…read moreschedule for this location since it was close to work. That being said, I didn't see a doctor so this is just a review on the customer service, and my Phlebotomist, Don. Service was great! We waited in line for maybe 45-60 seconds and had 2 individuals let us know they would get to us as soon as possible. We waited maybe 2 minutes at most and the front desk person apologized she couldn't get to us immediately and proceeded to check us in. Don was amazing! I was visibly nervous as I hate needles no matter how small or big the needle. He prepped my arm, and started to chit chat with us to help ease the anxiety and before I knew it, we were done! I've never had a smoother blood draw! I couldn't even feel the tiny pinch! HUGE shout out to Don! :)

I wish I could give a zero. I have visited Dr Padma Gadela at Allina Health Nicollet Mall Clinic…read moretwo years in a row as my primary physician. So my thoughts are compiled from more than just one visit. The visits are usually very rushed (not more than 15min in total) and with the priority of making sure the list is checked off rather than investing a few minutes in understanding the needs of the patient. I did not feel the doctor had interest or showed care about my wellbeing. Some clarifying questions I had about my vitamin D deficiency, bone health were brushed off as don't listen to podcast. Overall, I did not feel the doctor did a good job in caring for my health. So my recommendation would be to avoid Dr Padma Gadela especially for preventive care needs. Also, the doctor billed additional charges which should have not been there. The Clinic staff were not helpful either.
