It is a little farm oasis right in the heart of the Little Apple and just a stone's throw from the KSU Alumni Center and Student Union. We stayed in the Van Maanen suite, which was very private and comfortable. The mattress was SO comfortable! It's also the perfect size for a family of 4! Some days we ate at the crack of dawn others right before lunch time, you just let them know when you want to eat and your place will be set and if your up in time, the candles will still be lit! We stayed in the Van Mannen suite, it was spacious and well thought out, the shower was perfect size with a super high shower head which pleased my man of 6'5" who did not have to crouch to shower :) the bed is memory foam and delightfully comfy with lots of pillows to choose from. I was so impressed by the windows all around the Bunk House that provide amazing views. The food was great, everything was very clean and well maintained. We have had our retreat here for the last two years that I know of and when we asked the group if they wanted to do it again it was a great response from everyone. Homemade bread, rolls, and cinnamon rolls were to die for. Staff was great.
