It's literally a petting zoo, they have baby-everything-you-can-think-of from mice to ducklings to everything in between. Ok, well maybe not an actual petting zoo as they offer a variety of things. The outside looks like only farming and planting equipment, but they really do offer more than that such as standard household essentials and pet food. The store owners and employees were very friendly, we couldn't walk more than 10 steps without asking if we needed anything. One of the owners saw how enthused I was with the baby chicks that he brought over his 6-month-old pug, Percy, introducing us and letting me give all the lovings in the world. We ended up leaving with a tie-out cable for one of our dogs. The only thing is that I wish they didn't only sell dog treats from China. We couldn't find any American products in that department.

The 2nd one had more flavors but it looked less fresh. They do not allow dogs or skateboards in this area. They have live music and vendors that include baked goods, honey, local produce/vegetables/fruits, house decor, spicy jams, jams, cookies, cupcakes, food trucks, thinly sliced potato on a stick, and much more. It was a crowded event with lots of families/children. The sidewalk is narrow so people end up walking alongside the grass area. I like that this market is different than most farmer's market because of the craft element. I saw yarn animals, handcrafted wood furniture, and some other really neat craft projects.

The fields are well-kept, the staff are extremely friendly and I just generally enjoy being out at the farm to pick my own strawberries to turn into lovely homemade jam. They don't just have strawberries though; they've grown over the past few years and offer raspberry picking, peas, beans, pumpkins and apples, seasonally. The other thing worth mentioning is that they do a fantastic job of managing farm updates on Facebook and their website (www.fruition.ca). With wacky weather and the finicky nature of any harvest, things change pretty quickly. But, their timely updates will let you plan a great visit to the farm for whatever is in season.
