Only reviewing the waterpark since that's all we saw. The park was nice, appeared to be clean. The kids loved the lazy river and the water slides. They even used the diving board a few times. They thoroughly enjoyed it. The downside of our visit was the three young adult girls wearing g-strings and walking around small children. My youngest was horrified that he could see their "tushies". There's a place for such things but it's not in a children's area. It's indecent and I was surprised they were allowed in. I mean.... you have to wear shoes to enter other establishments... you should have to wear some kind of bum covering in the presence of children. IMO. read more

This is the 3rd year my children have taken swimming lessons. This time their instructor has been odd. My daughter is 9 and tall for her age. The instructor threw an object out for the kids to dive and retrieve. My daughter cannot swim yet and is building her confidence. When she threw out my daughter's object, my daughter tried but couldn't get it. She said the water was right up to her chin and needed help. The instructor wouldn't help her, although she had helped all the other children with this task. My daughter tried to move the object with her foot to get it into a little shallower water and was reprimanded. In the end she didn't pass the skill. When she came back to the parent area she was in tears. I did not confront the instructor. I mean, she is about 16 years old. We had an issue like this the 1st year when the instructor lacked patience. That year we left after the 1st day and didn't return. I have emailed the Station before but never get any response back. If your child is not already confident in the water, then lessons her might not be appropriate for your child. read more

My children and I enjoy our time at the pool. Slides, lazy river, driving boards, rock wall. The gym is nice but small. They have basketball courts, and classes. Never tried either so can't rate them. People are always friendly. The concession stand could have "healthier" options or even an allergen menu, that would be nice. They offer military discount on admission to the pool. Also, they have twilight hours which are half off for the last two hours of operation. Nice place. read more

One of the OKC metropolitan's best community centers. From a state of the art gym and fitness center open year round to a fun family pool available in the summer months, The Station at Moore's Central Park is a great place to be. Many life enriching classes are available to the public and day passes and memberships are available for use of the gym/fitness center and pool (seasonally). The outdoor track is fantastic and taken very good care of. There's an outdoor stage for concerts and performances and a pavilion area for the farmers market during summer months. This complaint is directly towards the recreation center only. While I understand this is a community center and there are children and elders. I find the dress code policy to be unreasonable and unfair. I walked into the gym with a sports bra and leggings. Like any other typical athletic wear to the gym. I was told to put on a shirt and that I violated the dress code policy. While I understand this is a community center. How does a woman's athletic wear come off offensive or deemed inappropriate? I was told I cannot show my midriff. Yet, men are allowed to wear these skinny cut-off tees that shows their midriffs? read more

The Station has a lot to offer. In the summer they have a farmer market. It maybe tiny, but it packs a lot of goods in it is a great place to grab some farm fresh and homemade goodies. They also have food truck days. What a great way to experience certain food trucks without having to truck all the was to OKC or other areas. They come to you, right here in Moore. The pool: The pool is open seasonally. I went on a Wednesday around 1230-4, when school is out for the summer. The pool itself is great. The wave pool is where we spent most of our time. The snack bar prices... meh. The entry feee to swim is reasonable, and they offer passes for the summer. If you do not get there early enough, good luck finding a lounge chair, or a chair. There really is not even a spot for you to lay out on grass or pavement that is not a walking area. We were in early enough and got 3 lounge chairs. Downside, it was near a whole bunch of teenage boys talking about highly in appropriate things at a pool. So be prepared to be patient for all the teenagers and kiddos who are not the best. I think she 14 and up you are allowed to be there without a parent. The girls in front of me lied about their age. It's a little disappointing that there is not an "adult" swim. The version of adult swim allows 16 years and up to be in the pool for 10 min while they have the break. But, it's not relaxing or you can not do laps because you have younger kids sitting on the edge splashing at each other. Now, lifeguards. They are amazing! You get maybe a stray one here and there who is messing with their nails or staining off into space but 90% of them seem to be focused and well trained. You can tell the managers over the lifeguards take their job seriously. As a past lifeguard for 6 years, I watched them closely and the pool. I was impressed. Inside in the gym area. They offer summer camps, like art, volleyball, basketball ect. They are priced decently. The gym is nice and the meeting rooms in the back are great as well. We have already utilized one for a meeting. All in all the station is a nice place to go. read more

I signed my son up for swim lessons here this summer. - The registration says it's 30 minutes per class, but it's not really. It takes about 5 minutes at the beginning to group the kids with their teachers and they finished almost 5 minutes early most days. - In my son's preschool class one teacher took one student out for individual practice while the other teacher watched them on the wall. There was no extra practice on the wall, they were just told to wait. - Parents are not allowed to sit inside the pool area where the classes are taken place. They are required to sit in the concession area, behind the gates in a small shaded spot, or behind a large planter in the sun. Parents are allowed inside on the last day only. Their reasoning is so the students don't get "distracted". I brought up my concerns with a manager during lessons. They were better for a day or two before they went right back to the way it was. These young employees don't seem to be managed by a manager with any skin in the game on a daily basis. I will not be enrolling my son here for swim lessons again. I will be taking my money elsewhere where hopefully my dollar and time are more respected. read more

What I don't understand about the Aquatic center is the rules on the slides, my son who is 46 inches but the tube slides or the big slide are 48" which end on 3'6 ft of water, but he can dive of the diving board which is in 12 ft of water. Doesn't make sense to me why he can dive but not slide read more

Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Decor & Style: 5/5 A great recreation center. They sell cheap gatorade (hence the 5/5 food rating, lol) which is good. Large facility with basketball courts (I think at least 8 or so), swimming pool, workout center, and even more. I enjoyed playing basketball here and it was clean, structured, and no random "ballers" taking over all the courts like the public places (i'm no baller so I want to enjoy my time here, not get dunked on). I haven't tried the workout center yet however I will in the future. A excellent facility I wish they had in OKC! read more

Driving across the country and stayed in Moore to visit family/friends. This park has a water park nearby but didn't end up going. We stayed playing in the play area (viewable in pictures). Handicap accessible. Activities that adults can get on to play with their kids. Played from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and I was able to take pictures during 10 mins of park not being busy. Rest of the time it has a consistent flow of people. read more

I have visited this park on several occasions and it really is a great park. We most recently went for a Christmas event hosted by the city. The highlight of the night was a Christmas fireworks display set to music. We really enjoyed the event and just walking around and exploring the park more. There is a little amphitheatre for music or plays with some seating overlooking a little pond. This area is super cute. In the summer we had a great time hanging out at the pool and enjoying the pool, waterslides, and water activities. They do a great job of making it a fun place to be by playing music and offering some snacks. I also love the rec center here. They have a huge gym with lots of basketball courts on the first level. The second level holds an indoor walking/running track, lots of cardio machines, and weight lifting machines too. They also offer classes taught by an instructor ranging from yoga to HIIT classes. Overall, this park offers lots of activities like Food truck Fridays, has a nice playground for the kiddos, and is just a great place to come with your family. I hope you'll give it a try. :) read more

This is not the first time at the Park, but it is for the Food Truck Friday. It is small which is convenient, a good use of the grounds and it is clean. While the trucks have a social media presence, I can not review them here. But, I will he reviewing the ones (all of them) that I try. Be forewarned I am partial to Irish dishes and beer, the St. Paddy Cakes truck is my must try. read more

This review is for the aquatic center only, which is basically a public pool for residents living on the east side of Moore. It costs $7.50 if you are not a resident, $6 for residents, and $5 for military. Since its summer time, the whole area fills up very quickly, so get there a little early if you want a chance at nabbing one of the lounge chairs. The pool area itself was built up very nicely. There are 3 pools, a lazy river, and 2 big slides. To go down the slides, you have to grab a tube which were readily available in designated areas. The lazy river was probably my favorite thing. It keeps you moving and kids absolutely love going around and around in it. It can get a little crazy because there are so many people, but hey you've got to expect that during the summertime. They also have a snack bar with random, decent treats. I didn't get anything, but if you're hungry or thirsty there is something there since no outside food is allowed. Overall, this is such a great addition to the east side of Moore. It's so great to have something like this close by since there are so many families in the area. read more

Cool water park and fun... however. When pool gets to capacity the line is ridiculous. If you are in the park do not leave when it's at capacity l. You can not re enter, have to wait in the hour long line. I had a wide an kids in the park as well. NOT COOL read more

I absolutely love this place. I use the fitness center and it's not overcrowded! I absolutely LOVE doing the boot camp and HIIT classes with Hailey! I'm so happy me and my husband got a membership there! read more
