The Moor Shopping Centre in Sheffield isn't a traditional shopping mall, I'd say it is more of a quarter with the only "inside" parts of the mall including a dining quarter, which includes terrible branches of both Nando's and Gourmet Burger Kitchen (there's also a Zizzi), and The Moor Market.
A short walk away from Fargate, Orchard Square and the Cathedral, many shops located here tend to double up over there, which I'd say is the nicer and possibly more "central" part of Sheffield, which is served by more services on the Stagecoach Supertram.
Ryman, Sainsbury's, JD, Halifax, EE, Boots, Specsavers and Ann Summer's are just a few of the brands located here, and there is a large Debenhams department store too.
Currently, there is construction around the area, making public transportation and bus services in the direct area, a little difficult, forcing you to go a short walk away.
Lack of signposting from the dining area to the shops is a big flaw, originally I began to think they weren't interlinked or even near each other, the whole set-up is rather strange in certain areas.
Some decent brands here, albeit some of the stores are probably the smaller locations of a certain brand in the city, The Moor does have a selection of places to eat (but those branches I tried are the weaker stores in the chain).
2* based on a central location, having a large Sainsbury's and Debenhams and a cinema. read more
