I used to be a big fan of Mooon Cafe. The last time I went to one of their branches, though, I was not impressed. There was no more "Wow" factor. When my sister n'law suggested Mooon Cafe close to Parkmall, I was all for it!
We beat the dinner rush because only two other tables had patrons. Our group of six was seated right away. The colorful decor reminds me of Mexican restaurants at home. Much of the menu is Mexican cuisine inspired.
A few folks in our party ordered Frozen Iced Tea. It was different and tasty. My niece ordered her other favorite two items as well. A Pasta entree and Pumpkin soup. She finished them both. My nieces shared the Amigos Platter which included salsa, chips, fries, a quesedilla sort of thing, and onion rings. It was okay. Wifey said her Tuna Belly entree was pretty good. My Mooonte Christo sandwich was okay too. Was truly expecting more flavor, though.
