I do not recommend dealing with Concord Management, the company that owns Newport Sound…read more On February 3, 2026, my family viewed a three bedroom apartment and immediately put in an online application and paid the fee and a holding fee. We were transparent with the property manager and with Concord that we had moved to Florida in mid-October and were staying with family, that my husband just began a new job, that I was a stay-at-home-parent to an autistic child, we rented our last place for over 12 years, and that we had enough savings to cover over a year worth of rent if something were to happen. We wanted to live there because of the school district and were ready to move in the next day. We are staying with family, but it's not a great situation, and needed to be out asap. The person overseeing our application was either incompetent or lazy or both. They ask the same questions repeatedly, even after I typed up a letter with detailed answers explaining our situation. They made us wait 1.5 months to submit current paystubs, even after a verification of employment form signed by my husband's manager was submitted (this was after his offer of employment letter was submitted). Last week , the property manager called my husband asking is we still wanted the apartment and how our application process was going. We told her yes, we were still waiting on *her company* to approve us and we had to submit one more paystub. She told him that the apartment was still being held. In the meanwhile, we continued to receive emails saying that Concord needed another paystub that did not yet exist, complete with an incorrect schedule of his pay dates. (We provided them with the correct one before and after this email.) Throughout this all, I called Concord and tried to talk to an actual human to explain the situation, since emailing didn't seem to work. I was told by the customer service rep to email the Disputes team and they had a pretty fast turn around. I emailed on February 9, then followed up February 12. I also called back on the 12th, and the customer service rep told me that I was not able to speak to anyone, however she would personally talk to the case manager and call me back. I still have not received a follow-up email or a phone call from anyone. On Friday, March 13, I called again to check on our status, as the final paystub was submitted that Thursday. I was told that an email was sent to the property manager and district manager to see if there were any properties available. Which left me confused, because we paid that holding fee. Plus, the property manager had just checked in on us. Well, yesterday we found out that no apartments are available for us, the next one would be the middle of May. It was explained at that time that the "holding fee" was so we were on the waiting list for an apartment. Even though the language consistently used was that the apartment was being held for us. Again, this definition change was 1.5 months after the initial application was submitted and the holding fee paid. So, this leaves my family houseless, frustrated, and having to start the process all over again and rush to find a place to live.

The central court is filled with beautiful trees. Pets are accepted, except if they fall into the insurance "dangerous dogs" list. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and polite. Every time I needed a maintenance visit, The maintenance is done within an hour..longer if it's complicated..but they personally respond right away. The Bedroom closet is to die for, it's Huge! We have frequent resident events... Laundry facilities available also. I am so happy I chose this apartment complex..but best of all Rent very reasonable for the location and size of the units. Oh yes right on bus stop, McDonalds and Circle K are a short walk away. Come check us out, Office is open from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm..applications are also provided just out side the club house!

I normally don't review places as I am older and not so tech savvy but my grand daughter saw…read moreBonnie's review and showed it to me so I had to write a review. I lived next door to Bonnie's "friend" and I have never been so happy to see someone go. He was a loud, obnoxious drunk who thought because he was on Section 8 he could do what he wanted. Boy did the staff set him straight on that. He did not move out he was told to leave. He went around whining to anyone that would listen that they were kicking him out. What did he expect? You don't go around drunk and be loud, obnoxious and vulgar to your neighbors. The staff here have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to drugs, violence, and not following the rules. That is why we have such a lovely community here. All of the neighbors know each other and look out for each other. I know if I need anything I can call on a neighbor or one of the staff and they will be there. As for Bonnie's friend there was nothing wrong with his apartment that he did not cause. He showed it to me before he left. He had ripped up the closet floor,he had stained the kitchen floor with something(?), there were so many fist holes in the doors they looked like swiss cheese, and one whole wall was ruined from where he had his dart board hung. I don't think he ever got a dart in the board in the 7 years he was here. From the amount of holes in the drywall it looked like they ended up there. If your looking for a nice, quiet place to live with good people and no crime then come here and enjoy. We even had coffee with a cop for one of our events (we have events in the clubhouse for residents like potluck, pizza nights, Bingo, etc.). Even the officers pointed out on their crime map that there is no crime here. I love it here. My apartment is beautiful, my neighbors are great, and the staff treats you like family.

If you're even considering moving in--PLEASE read this first. I lived here from 2022 to 2025 and I…read moream begging you: do not move here. I moved in with my fiancé (now husband), and even brought our first daughter home from the hospital while living here. This place was a nightmare from the start. Let's be clear: it was nothing like the apartment they show you during the tour. The model unit looked nice--bright rooms, clean air, no bugs. But the unit we were given? Our daughter's room had no lights and no fan. When we asked about it, they told us there was nothing they could do. We even offered to pay out of pocket to have it installed, and they still refused. We've since learned from our new landlord that it's illegal to rent a room without proper lighting and ventilation. Now onto the worst part-- * ROACHES. No matter how much we cleaned, they were everywhere. I put in multiple service requests, even called crying while pregnant, begging for pest control before bringing my baby home. Someone eventually came, but it didn't help. The roaches were in every crack and corner. They even followed us to our new place. * MOLD. Around windows, near the AC, in cracks--everywhere. I have asthma and had trouble breathing regularly. I felt so guilty having to raise my newborn in that environment. * SAFETY. Drug deals at night, constant police presence, and things getting stolen from cars. This wasn't a safe place for families. * MANAGEMENT. Completely inconsistent. The only person who ever truly cared was Daviana--and she left. Since then, it's been a revolving door of managers who only respond if you physically go to the office. We didn't even break our lease--we had to move out for a new opportunity (thankfully). But even after we left, they pulled up our carpet just to find a stain underneath, one that wasn't visible or even smelly. It didn't even look like our dog had ever laid there. Now we're being charged for that, too. At this point, we're just paying it to be done and never think about this place again. This place is unsafe, unclean, and completely misrepresented. It's not a good place for anyone--especially not kids, pets, or anyone with health concerns. Please do your future self a favor and stay far away. I'm praying for anyone who's stuck living here.

After my 2 month experience this plex needs to be shut down…read more I started talking to the complex and welcomed by Jalen. I was given a threat if I should up to pay on Oct 8. The application fees are 139.90 each. I came and got my apartment. I signed with Tyrome Davis that threaten me to sign or he would never do business again with me. Moving forward, our apartment was filthy . The walls, kitchen, back porch..... list goes on. I didn't have a working dishwasher for two months. No bulbs in needed areas and no resolution when I called. I was constantly hung up on and given false promises. The premise is hardly managed. You are charged for garbage disposal, which isn't explained. You are charged for pest control, which said would happen, but doesn't.. I changed my own AC filter and was disgusted. The pool has floating trash all over. The workout room is the most laughable awful place. Tv doesn't work, lock on the door doesn't work and a pathetic attempt to supply and advertise this subreddit. The vending machines do not work, the laundry does not work. My wife and I are now getting sick from mold. See pictures. My screen is broken, my ice machine doesn't work, water pressure is barely flowing. Dirt on every wall and fixture. The mold problem is now getting my wife and I sick. I will say the Maintenance is amazing! They do their job but are immediately pushed by management. Lastly, on Dec 9, 2025 I was assaulted, intimidated and screamed in my face at the office by the manager Tyrome Davis. I would not wish the complex on my worst enemy. More photos to come!
