However, I saw some crafts outside the door and a sign that said Unique and Chic so decided to walk inside. I'm so glad that I did because I love seeing creative, artistic, crafts . . . This is a collection of independent vendors so you have to walk and check each one out. One of the first vendor had metal one word signs on wood, some with hooks to hang coat/hat/etc. Others had adorable outfits -- Tiger fans may want to look at the next booth. There were painted furniture with Bible verses on them, others had home decor. Jewelry, and I happen to come across at the back, a workshop that just finished. A couple women had just completed painting on wooden piece through Southernhomemade and will now be able to hang up for the Christmas season. You can book your own party with them. The biggest challenge is since these are all independent vendors who don't hang by their booth, one can peruse and if want to purchase an item or two, there was an employee at the cash register. She didn't even notice I was at the counter! Then she disappeared into the back area. The only other person, young blond girl, - who I assume works there, was at a desk in the back - I had to seek her out to ask for help. she had an attitude like I was bothering her, and could not help me with what I was looking for I left.....What the hell is going on with that store? Now can't recall caught my attention and a friend also wanted to go into the store. It reminds me of those neat boutiques in the resort/beach towns. There are many customized items and if you were going to a baby shower or bridal shower, this could very well be where you may want to go! They have lots of bath fizz soaps, lotions, bath bubbles, those quaint sayings on things . . . things that I don't like in my house because I'm bad enough about getting rid of stuff, so I try to avoid buying more things to accumulate. It was quite large and we were roaming around in it and I'm really quite surprised no one came up to ask if we needed any help. Anyway, it was neat to see all the items, there were post-Easter materials there but as graduation and summer beach are arriving soon, I'm sure you can find something needed, or at least wanted. I must enjoy going through these stores more when I'm completely chilled and relaxed (or on vacation) so didn't see anything of interests but it was neat!

When you walk in the wonderful smells of soaps and teas fill the air. So many items to choose from, some inexpensive, to WOW! IM GOING TO HAVE TO SELL A CHILD! The lady who owns this place was so pleasant and was eager to find out about us. Typical small town conversation. We found some neat items we could give as gifts and thanked her. We did come back on Sunday to see if we could get one more item, but there was a big sign on the door. Closed for church.Love small towns!So how did we end our day here?
