First issue: Someone thought it was a genius idea to hang a wasp/hornet trap right in the middle of two campsites -- ours and our neighbors'. Saturday morning, we woke up to wasps swarming all over our tents. At first, we couldn't figure out why until we spotted the trap in a tree, literally buzzing with activity. My husband went to the ranger station to report it, but no one was there. About an hour later, a ranger finally showed up and moved the trap -- by that point, our kids hadn't even been able to leave their tents. Once that was dealt with, I started cleaning up all the trash left behind by the previous campers at our site. Later that evening, while we were having dinner, our older daughter was stung by a bee. Speaking of trash -- let's talk about the lakes. We visited multiple spots around the lakes, and honestly, it felt like flashbacks to dirty California beaches. Everywhere we went: trash, broken glass, diapers, beer cans, baby wipes. Floating in the water. Tangled in plants. Scattered across the shore. My daughter was in the water for maybe 45 seconds before she cut her foot open on a shard of glass, and we had to go back to camp to pull it out. None of us even got to swim. And this wasn't just one spot -- we tried three different lakes and five different locations, hoping for a safe place for the kids. Nothing. We are never coming back. People can say what they want about western Washington coasts and lakes (the weather, the crowds, whatever), but what we do right is keeping our beaches, parks, and wildlife refuges clean. We respect our nature and our wildlife. We don't like people coming into our homes and leaving trash everywhere, so we don't do that to other places. This place could be a gem. It could be beautiful and worth returning to every year. But that won't happen. This was our first -- and our last -- time visiting.

This is a big lovely park on the side of I-90 in Moses Lake…read more There are mostly pros, especially in the size (it's huge!) and the variety of things to do here. Even on abuts weekend with a wedding taking place in part of the park, it doesn't feel crowded. There are gazebos galore, 3 buildings with facilities, grills, a playground, a dock, a basketball court, a swimming area and tiny beach, and a disc golf course. You can reach it by the bike path or car. Cons: the freeway is loud in the park proper if you're seeking a quiet place, but I wouldn't call it too obnoxious. I haven't been on a weekday, but on a mid-Sunday in summer, be prepared to pack out your garbage because all cans will be full (and I didn't see places for recycling). If you're an avid disc golfer like S., the course might be a disappointment, say a 2-3 star. There are only nine holes, all par three, and if you are here during a normal summer afternoon, most holes will be obstructed by other park-goers, as it's all incorporated right into the park. But it's a good place to practice, and if you arrive early, especially on weekdays, you can get in a full round. For me, it's great for a summer in-town getaway.

Not quite sure what his deal was, but he explained that he was busy: a busy bee, although he said he hadn't gotten any honey yet. Perhaps a friend of Walter White? I was feeling pretty good when I saw that my room had no neighbors. Just a large room with a metal door in between my room and the next. Turns out the room with the metal door had some sort of industrial equipment in it, and it let out a loud hum for the first three hours of my stay. The room I stayed in looked nothing at all like the pictures that were provided on any of the travel sites. It smelled musty, and was not well kept up. I stayed in hotels with similar reviews in Moses Lake, and they've been fine. This one was not.

I've shopped here a few times and probably will avoid unless I have an emergency and need something the same day. I will go to Tri Cities or order my stuff online. Amazon has a lot of RV parts and if you have Prime you get free shipping. I found that this store charges $120 a gallon for roof coat material. I can get the same stuff off the shelf in Pasco for $88. Some would call this gouging.

Absolute worst place to repair an RV. Was promised priority service of 4 days on warranty repairs…read moreand they had it 6 weeks! Manufacturing company (Thor) was overcharged so much they took them off the list of approved repair facilities! Blue Dog RV was charged almost $800 to replace a slide topper! That was just for labor, not parts! I had to have them reinstall the topper because it wasn't installed properly and they did the work in 45 minutes! ($800 for 45 min work!) The list of overcharging goes on and on... technitions are not qualified or certified to perform maintenance on any RV .. when I asked about certification I was told they didn't know!
