Great place for a clip. She takes great pride in her hair cuts. Always listens to your needs and give you exactly what you wanted.

The good: $25 seems fair for a mens cut. No appointment needed is a bonus in my opinion. Moon did my son's cut (he has curly hair) and he was extremely happy with it. She also did my other son's hair (straight hair) and it came out great too! So attentive. Unfortunately... The bad: While my curly haired son got his cut another female barber made a joke to my son that implied I slept with the neighbor for him to have curly hair. Yeah for real. Not funny or even kind of ok. Reading other negative reviews Im pretty sure it's the same lady cutting people and ignoring their requests and giving poor quality cuts. I hope Moon lets her go bc she's hurting business. read more

Does anyone know where Fred went? I went to get haircut and was told he wasn't working there anymore.

My appointment was at 4pm... I arrived 15 min prior like I was told to when reserving an appointment. I sat for an hour waiting for my haircut and the guy was still not done the same cut.... I got up and left...Completely unacceptable and I will never be coming back to this barbershop. read more

Moon always takes great care of me each time I go in! She will verify what I am looking to do makes sense with my hair type and strives to give the best service. read more

Idk... my father came in for a simple haircut that only took like 15 mins. I mean, skin fade with a 1 on top. It was simple. And then they charged him $45???? Nahhh........ never again. Good thing we just needed somewhere last minute and they were open. Oh well! read more

Moon is such a great stylist, every time I've gotten a haircut there it has been great!

Always good haircuts!! Su and Moon and the rest of the barbers always put the time into the cut and take pride in the outcome. Good to find somewhere that pays attention to detail. Good conversation and just overall good vibe. read more

I looked up all of the hair shops around that had good rating for kids hair. Well, my partner goes here, so I decided to give it try. Went in and thought there might be a sign up sheet. Then figured it was first come, first serve. But also if you're waiting for Ms. Moon, you'd be on a different wait time. I was extremely nervous. Waited in the waiting area for about 15 mins because we didn't have a specific barber we wanted. I should have gotten his name, but the man barber was the one that gave my son his haircut. I showed him a picture and told him what I wanted and he asked me a couple of questions. My baby (14 mo) looked nervous, but once he started on his hair, he was so comfortable. He loved talking to Ms. Moon, even tho she wasn't the one working on his hair. Also getting to watch all the other guys in the chair helped him feel comfortable. Overall we had a great experience! Just know there is a wait time! And because of so many people willing to wait, I'm sure this place is a great place, regardless of my experience! read more

Found my self in that predicament where my normal barber is closed and I needed a cut that day... went to Yelp and chose the next highest rated barber... Moons.. Walked in and was immediately greeted and placed in a chair. Explained what I wanted and the moment the clippers hit my head I could tell she did not listen to a word I said. Walked out with the highest high and tight when I asked for a medium fade.. Looks like I'm wearing a hat for the next few weeks... Hindsight 20/20 I should've waited until my normal barber was available. I will not be going back. read more

Nice friendly staff. Also prices per haircut more than fair. My son and I have been to a few places. But we always return to moons. Definitely worth the drive read more

Longish waits but best service, cool, hip, clean environment... don't come here on a weekend day expecting for less than a 30 min. wait

ONE OF THE TOP BARBERSHOPS IN KITSAP! Moon's barber is accurate every time! No complaints and the pricing is highly affordable. The energy is amazing and the clients always leave with a smile and confidence. They don't rush like most franchises and use professional quality tools. Will be taking my kids here for their first haircut. Location is great and near the Kitsap mall. So if you're going to get a fresh haircut, you can go shopping and a bite to eat after. Since you'll be looking fresh!!! Yassssssz the pics say it all. So many good viBes at Moons!!! read more

I was gladly received by the barber, first come first serve. Hair cut was fine in the beginning, mid way she starts trimming the back of my head and nicking me, I shrug it off. I politely ask her after she's done, if she could round off the sides on the top, she didn't really do much. I'm dissatisfied with the cut and she tells me to go to a barber that's familiar with my hair, then continues to angrily swipe my card. Poor customer service at best, and if she would have been willing to correct her mistake I would have been more than happy to become a regular. Water under the bridge. Never coming back. read more

Young did so good on my kiddo's hair!! She was super patient with my three year old and was able to line his hair up so well!! We asked her to do whatever she thought looked best and she gave him a fade and lined him up! We will definitely be coming back! She also gave him a sucker and fruit snacks at the end! read more

I've been a couple times. Seems like the wait is always at least 45mins or more. The barbers lack consistency and they prioritize the quality of work due to the amount of customers waiting..an example would be they only razor shave and neck massage when the line isn't long. They'd rather move customers in and out than provide consistent cuts. Also, over priced. read more

Wow! I think I have a new favorite local barber. I am very picky where I get my haircut due to a very selective style with a hard part. She took her time and gave me the best haircut I have had in a long time. Great full service, hot towel, shoulder massage, and she uses a straight razor! Kids had fun the area for kids and she gave my son a great haircut too. Great haircut, MILTARY DISCOUNT, and friendly service. read more

Ask for Moon, IF YOU ARE NEW TO THE AREA and military this is your new barber. Very polite, listens to what you want as you go and before. Lined me up, trimmed my beard and gave me a great haircut. Very relaxing clean environment. The shave and lotion felt like a massage. 10/10 5 stars. read more

I think the barbers name was Suda but I could be wrong. after she absolutely gave me the run around about who was gonna cut my hair, and after she gave me a hard time saying she was cash only, she did a bad job cutting my hair. the fade was decent but she didn't even cut the sides of my head. I thought it was just me having too high of an expectation but after I got home and took a shower, I realized I had an umbrella on the top of my head! I ended up taking my own clippers to the side of my head to at least make me feel a a little better without a hat on. read more

DO NOT come here for a fade. Lady was rushing and just wanted to get the haircut over with. I recommend you DO NOT waste your time. Doesn't use a straight blade to clean you up they use a razor that you would probably use for personal grooming. 1/5 if that read more

Went here due to the great reviews. Was not the best barber by far. We weren't greeted when coming in and waited almost an hour for our turn. I showed the woman the haircut I wanted for my 10 year old. She tried to get it right ( probably a haircut I could of done myself.) The prices a crazy, I was charged $26 plus $4 tip to be nice. Won't be going back read more

I highly recommend this barber shop. I've been coming here a few times but now decided to write a review. barber shops that can cut AA hair is hard to find in Kitsap so I'm impressed with the quality of cut, the atmosphere and the focus on safety. Would definitely be coming back. read more

I have been to all kinds of barbers around the world and finding a barber who wants to cut a woman short cut rare. I was very happy that she accommodated me. The owner, (Moon) greeted me as soon as I walked in. Moon has complimentary massage chair, coffee/soda and tangerines. I notice the popcorn machine in the corner but it was too early for me She also have a great T.V in her waiting area. I was especially impressed by her hours 7:30 am- 7:30 PM 7 days a week. She is also a great conversationalist. I highly recommend Moon's Barber, for great hospitality and service! read more

Went in, sat down and was told that the haircut I asked for was no good. Was then given a haircut I did not ask for, my requests were ignored and the sides are noticeably uneven. Barber was very nice and I wanted to be happy with it, but the more I look the more I don't like it. I'm sorry to say this was my first and certainly last trip here. read more

My 9 year old son, wanted a fade. But one of the barbers COMPLETELY ignored it, he ended up coming out with a marine-styled haircut. Personally, I don't recommend this place for fades. Also, he wanted his bangs long and they cut it too short. read more

This is the most welcoming place to get a solid haircut. Moon, Sue and Young are absolutely the nicest in the whole world and I love going to get my haircuts here because it's just a great time. Straight razor shave with hot shaving cream and a really excellent fade is my norm and I get plenty of compliments from my wife. I would recommend getting your haircut here in a heartbeat. I absolutely loved this Barber! My husband just got a haircut and it was amazing!! The best haircut he has ever gotten! Moon paid so much attention to the shape of his head and adjusted to it, she offered me refreshments, she asked me if I wanted to sit in the massage chair! I don't think that I have ever received better treatment as a woman in a barber shop than I was treated here! The interior of the store is amazing, so clean! There are also sterilization machines for the tools used which I really appreciate! All around the best experience! We will most definitely be back! I %10000 recommend! read more

Kamal did an excellent job! I've been looking for a good barber since moving. I've now found my new barber here in Silverdale. Kamal exceeded my expectations and is a very talented barber. The atmosphere is very welcoming and they have snacks and refreshments as you wait. Walk ins are welcome, but you might have a longer wait. I recommend to make reservations before heading there. I requested a fade with a hard part and it was finished off with a straight razor line-up. If you are looking for a great barbershop then stop searching and make an appointment now. read more
