Definitely on the higher end of the tuition scale for dance studios despite more talking than dancing. I find it alarming when my child knows about the personal lives of her adult teachers. If you aren't going to spend thousands to competitively dance, then I suggest choosing another school, as girls who aren't part of the competitive team are treated as second-class citizens with much less opportunity to improve and it is damaging to their self-esteem. All in all, we are much happier at a different studio this year.

The sudden news came with a promise that the multiple deposits could be moved to 2021 but they couldn't afford to refund my money. Pretty awful considering I then had to find 3 weeks of summer camp at the last minute for my two children with almost no notice and down a few hundred dollars. I email immediately that I would not put my trust In them for any future sessions, no response. So 2021 rolls around and I send numerous emails requesting my refund for the previous years camp hoping they can "afford" to return my 6 deposits rather than steal my money as a punishment for their business' poor performance- nope. They do not even acknowledge my emails. Pathetic. So I can't speak to what kind of service they might provide but beware giving them any deposits Bc if they decide to cancel your service- they'll collect your money with zero regret or ethical consideration. Being involved with other dance studios, I've never seen something more selfish or unprofessional.

I have gone to other places dance recitals where there is clearly a lack of quality compared to here. Lessons. Typically an hour long. They will place you in class according to your dance level. There are classes that range from 3 year olds to older adults to teach you an array from ballet, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, tap, acrobatics, and more. The instructors who teach have been doing this for years! As for the little ones, you'll be amazed at how much they learn. The instructors are quite good with kids and reward them with stickers for good behavior. Lessons are typically held during the school year, but they also offer summer workshops. Also, if you refer other people to attend the school, you will receive a discount! Pictures. Pictures are always professionally done around the beginning of spring or so. I typically got a package of individual and group photo. You can see past group photos once you walk in the building to see what kind of quality you'll be getting. Recital. Recitals are divided according to level: Petite, Intermediate, Junior, Senior. So far they have all been held at Willet Hall in Portsmouth. The opening performances for each recital level are usually done by the Senior company which goes to show what level you can achieve if you keep at it... quite inspirational. By the end of the year, you truly see quality that you pay for. Overall, if you have a kid that is serious about dance, this is the place to go!
