He then shows me to a room in the back, cozy room with good lighting, where I got undressed and waited for my masseuse. In comes May, gorgeous lady and very sweet. She did one hell of a job, first relaxing me with a cleaning on the table shower, followed by such a detailed massage session getting every inch of my tense, stressed body. Didn't speak too much English, but just enough to have small talk. Only reason why this doesn't have 5 stars is at the end, I offered a 20% tip to what I paid, and she said that wasn't enough. In 90 minutes my feet got 30 seconds of attention and that was one of the first things I told her was aching me, Followed by my neck and shoulders and for some reason she wound up spending probably a total of a half an hour on my upper inner and outer thighs?!?! The best part of this 90 minutes or when she disappeared for all of five and came back with these hot metal balls that she rubbed for about three minutes around my neck area. Sonia is very knowledgeable about skin care and offered me many suggestions for products at various price points. I provided my insurance information at the time of service, and was charged a discounted rate accordingly. More than a month later, I received a bill in the mail from their parent company for almost $150 with no explanation of services. I called their office to inquire and they're claiming this is the balance of what I owe for the massage. This would be the most expensive massage I've ever had and the lowest quality by far. Based on their questionable business practices, I will not be returning to Body Wisdom and plan to notify my insurance company of the poor service.
