High student/teacher ratios, less than impressive specials, and an environment that seems to care…read moremainly about test scores than the actual success of students creates less than satisfactory results for our family. Too bad. Their reputation is favorable in this area. I had high hopes for this school for my child. I am giving a generous two stars for their moral focus. It correlates closely to values we find important and seems to make a strong impact on empathy and sensitivity in my child.

Our experience was horrible…read more My son can be challenging, but the way in which the workers chose to handle situations is beyond professional. My son was belittled, and screamed at in the open by a worker. I addressed it as I was right there to witness it, and was also screamed at and treated very poorly. The workers sit at a table and chat amongst themselves, text on their phone and read the newspaper rather than interact with the children. The one positive about the program was Nina, who was moved to the preschool room and the program continued to worsen once she was gone. When this was addressed to the main program, Kristi who is the director at the main office was very receptive of my concerns, however not once did I get a chance to talk to either owner. Instead just a check in the mail for the remainder of the summer fees that were previously paid, and not even the amount I was expecting after talking to Kristi. They are money hungry, could care less about the actual welfare of the children and customer satisfaction. My son could've done a better job watching himself in the mornings in comparison to what this program has to offer.

They create such a great environment for socializing and learning for the kids and do a great job caring for safety as well. I was nervous about taking my kids to preschool at first, but this program has become dearly loved by my children and I. We have also had a number of different teachers there and all have been incredible, speaking to an excellent leadership and administrative culture in the school.

I love picking my child up and hearing a little bit about what has happened during the day. They are dedicated to spending time outside. Something really important to me, that ELC does really well, is the way they model language in the class. My daughter wears hearing aids and her speech has improved while there due to them, speech therapy, etc. Every week they send out the theme of their activities and songs they're singing, which is also very helpful.
