This is not your average go karting experience, these things really take off! This is a great place to go with a group of friends for a bit of friendly competition. The video was helpful to watch and the staff were pleasant. Only reason I gave it 4 stars was the setup for racing is a bit unfair. I rode behind my husband and they ended up ending my race a full lap earlier than everyone else's. When it came to scoring they based on time per lap so even tho I was right behind him every lap, they cut me a lap and he was allowed to keep racing. Not sure if this is common practice in this style of karting but considering you pay a quite a bit to ride, I'd like all my laps please. read more

An overpriced experience made worse by a disinterested staff and unclear directions. After half a lap, my son accidentally drove into the exit lane and back to the starting point. No one was there to direct him away from that turn, which shouldn't have been accessible until the end of the race. He was told that he couldn't get back on the track or re-take his turn with the next group. And no offer of a refund...just $30 wasted and a disappointed kid. Also...safety is a joke. They leave you in a room to watch a safety video that the staff doesn't remain for. You can just walk out to the track without watching if you choose to. read more

I have over 100 visits listed in my Monza app and I can count on 1 hand the amount of pleasant interactions I've had with the manager JASON. My first interaction with this man was an awkward smile in response to his uncomfortable stare. Since then I have witnessed him belittle grown men who are paying to use the track verbally and speak down to all of the employees that make him seem successful enough at his job to keep it. Tonight it was only him and one other new hire, as a group that comes regularly we know the check in process. JASON made the process incredibly difficult with his aggressive attitude. Again the staff here is AMAZING aside from Jason who they should let go immediately. read more

I come here to race 1-2 times a week, and the employees here are great... the manager Jason, however, is a total prick. ( excuse my language) but he is. He lacks basic customer service and has very little patience when dealing with people. I thoroughly enjoy coming here to race except for when I have to deal with him. He makes everyones life harder. Not just mine, but the employees who are trying there best as well. He seems to be on some kind of power trip like he runs the whole casino and can talk to people however he wants. This go kart race track is a HAZARD. There is no safety precautions. I was hit very badly twice and my kart did a 360. Thankfully I had the neck gear and helmet, but that was not enough. Heck ya! Seriously fun experience. High-end track and electric karts with no exhaust fumes. I got to race in the kart Gordon Ramsey raced in - featured in the current season of Hells Kitchen! The food was delicious, especially the veggie wrap, egg rolls and mozzarella sticks. We heard their menu is expanding soon, too. The crew working at Monza was attentive and very nice. The business feels brand-new because it's so clean, but they've been attached to the Foxwoods Casino for 5+ years. Highly recommend! read more

We really enjoyed the karting here... it was pretty challenging. We actually booked the place for 60min driving (4 15min sessions with 10min break in between), which turned out to be really intense. My first time with gas karts, and I found this to be much better than electric. Throttle modulation was more realistic. Surprisingly the gas fumes in the place arent that bad given that it is indoors. Course layout is really fun and non-stop action. Also my first time with elevation changes... this really made the course a lot more challenging and interesting (and painful... speeding downhill I did get shaken around quite a bit). Only real issue is that its a bit of a hassle to get to... you need to walk at least 15min from the parking lot through the casino. read more

What a let down came a few years ago pre Covid and had a blast came mid 2025 the manager Jason is a disrespectful grown baby his authority over women is nasty paid for my race then watched how he talked to another rider in my party getting in her face I immediately called him out and he couldn't own up for his actions the receptionist JAI was a sweetheart and diffused the situation and gave me a refund back no problem... would give better rating if management wasn't so trash hopefully changes happen soon read more

This is not a safely run kart experience. I was hit from behind by a young kid and there was no flag or warning given to him to slow down. The safety video is a joke. It does not go over important information and you can just skip it and walk through the room as there are no employees to ensure you watched it. This should be given by instructors. The flag system is ineffective. Violators should be slowed down by staff. I also feel before take off they should explain how to get off the pit prior to the end of the race. Track is very dark and narrow in some places and an accident waiting to happen. I don't feel this company cares about its customers safety. Just because you sign a waiver should not be a reason to be so poorly run. read more

Hmmm. I'm still debating how I feel about this place. While it wasn't bad...it really wasn't that good. For $30 a person you ride a track for 8 minutes....just go around and around...for 8 minutes. There are some hills and turns...but it's really not that exciting. You can control the speed of your kart..but...you're really just going around and around....and around again. Before going on the track you watch a safety video and learn what different color flags mean. You also learn what not to do on the track and what to do if you have a slower/faster driver in your race. You are given safety gear. I was also given socks and shoes (like Toms) because I had flip flops on. They also provide you with lockers to keep your things in while you race. I really don't think it was worth the money. It's more the experience I suppose. read more

Parking is a little confusing. Make sure you park in the FOX TOWER parking garage otherwise you will be searching and walking forever. I went in a nice girl helped me out, helped with a profile, explained the app, and put me in a room to watch a safety video. Once completed our group went to check in for some racing. We had over 12 people and to our supposed to be given a group rate. I was not, I was charged the full $30. I learned this after the fact of paying. The head gear is clean and washed after each use. The track was fun and clear and they have many employees with flags on the track at all times. My first ride was uncomfortable as I didn't know that the seats and the pedals move. So once I found that out I had many comfortable rides there after and it was game on. The carts do go face and everything is properly functioning to remain in control. Once your racing they do have a fully stocked bar. The woman there was very careful serving and ensured that anyone who got a drink did not try to go racing after! read more

I went there tonight with my son.. the manager give myself discount as a firefighter. Which I'm thankful. We were shown a video about the company's safety practices whiles using the track. Specifically stating that aggressive or dangerous drop can have you flagged and remove. Also One must be cognitive and respectful of other drivers, because we all want to have this great experience. Drivers were bumping into you at high speeds, I myself was hit behind and the side resulting in a multiple cart crash. No attention was paid to these type of drivers when I was on their track. Track attendees refuse to remove or turned a blind eye to this behaviour. I eventually decided to come off the track before my Schedule time. Complain to both person at the front desk. Now given that the place wasn't crowded. I was ignored, or even given a second thought on this issue. Looking from the sideline, it was more about getting customers in than rectifying existing issues. I'll never visit or recommend this . read more

Terrible staff and karts are not set up properly. The guy who handles the helmets seemed to be high on something and was very confrontational. Zero eye contact and vague answers to questions from the girl who directs people after the instructional video. When seated in the kart We were not told if We had to put the seat belts on ourselves or if they would assist as they are difficult to put on with a helmet on. Kart seat moved back mid-driving. Experienced Monza over the weekend (Saturday, April 29th). There were no issues with the track itself but the manager was condescending, rude, and made a lot of passive aggressive gestures. He had a very nasty disposition. We came with a group of about 15 boys for my nephews 16th birthday. The group arrived in advance of their race to sign waivers. The "manager" was rude on multiple occasions. My younger nephew spilled some of his cheez-its on the carpet in the lobby. He's 2. He very rudely demanded one of the staff to find something and clean it up because they were all over the floor. Seemed to me like he wanted to make a point and make my sister uncomfortable about the spill. Next, my other sister was signing up with one of the associates and was unclear on which race they were joining. Her and the associate were doing just fine communicating. He decided to interject and tell her what she didn't sign up for, when there was no issue nor did it concern him. Lastly, after everyone was all checked in, the group of boys were off to the side, just waiting, laughing, being boys. He decided it was his duty to walk over to watch them, not in a subtle way but in a very bold, arms crossed, intimidating stare kind of way. They are typical boys but they weren't being rowdy or disruptive. Also there were 5 adults with this group so there was no need for him to police them. I'm guessing the color of their skin and texture of their hair warranted him to watch them. He didn't find what he was looking for so he decided to meet his buddy over at the bar where they exchanged insults calling each other *ssholes and *itches. Extremely unprofessional and I feel bad for future customers and the staff that has to work under his poor management. read more

We had a blast except for jerks who think everybody should be a professional. Flipping off our slower drivers and ramming into the back of us. Drivers should be monitored more closely because this should be just for fun. Honestly it would not be a bad idea to have competitive races for those interested. Absolutely disgusted with the manager and track staff. Three of the people in my group got hit very badly multiple times by other racers, and nothing was done. First time here, Second time ever doing the gas powered racing go carts. Reasonable price for what you get. Depending on the time you come, can fit a large party if you all want to race together. However, if anyone is younger they will need to race in their own race. Nephew came with us he was 13 and he had to use the "junior" carts that go slower and race in their own heat/ race. If there is a crash or a slower driver it takes up time out of your race so it would be nice if they put additional time to the race for that reason. Carts are fast course is fun to drive on the entire experience was a lot of fun. Carts are not made for large people (width or height). If you have large hips beware and if you have tall legs it will not be comfortable. I'm 6-1 and my legs were uncomfortable. I wish they did a promotion for cheaper races after paying for a certain amount, but that's out of my hand. Definitely worth going. read more

This review is more reflective of the staff than of the course of driving experience itself. The experience was completely ruined for me by the staff. The staff had a serious attitude problem including the people who were supposed to be helping you into the carts right up to the manager. They felt the need to talk to talk down to everyone and to do so with an attitude. The way the talked to the races/ their clients, was very disrespectful and ruined our entire groups experience of this place. It was actually to the point where people watching the racing had asked what happened that the staff was yelling. That being said, the instructional video was very informative and did a better job than most and making it a fun video to watch. The driving suits were in good shape. The track was fun, not your typical oval track. Go karts were fast and handled really well. read more

Horrible experience at Monza. Went with a group of 8 and expected an enjoyable time. First off, $30 for any 8-minute experience just seems a bit ridiculous but we were willing to pay it. The security briefing was well-done, in-depth, and informative. For instance, I've participated in BMWs mtrack days and felt there was less of a security briefing there. So after the briefing, we suit up in the optional fire suits (I recommend if racing in the winter because it's FREEZING on the track). Now it's our time to race and the friendly attendant fits you with a helmet and neck brace and puts you in your cart. However instructions weren't clear that we needed to make sure we were in the right order in line so that our times matched up. Green light means go and we're off...but I spin out in the first corner. No big deal, I'll remember that corner is difficult on the next lap right? WRONG. Before even completing a quarter of a lap I am asked to return to pit lane and exit the track for "not following the security briefing". Not sure how I was even able to break a rule before even getting up to speed or around the first corner. And since I barely utilized their resources I should surely get a refund for my $30 right? Wrong again. No refunds. So to say the least, racing at Monza will be your biggest gamble at Foxwoods during your trip. Maybe you'll pay $30 for a great experience or maybe you'll pay $30 and get a bruised collarbone like my sister or maybe you'll pay $30, race for 5 seconds, get whiplash in the first corner and lose all your money. Worth the risk? Not in my opinion. There's plenty of other kid friendly and safe activities in the area to participate in. Try the XD ride experience instead, $11.99 and we had an absolute BLAST. read more

This place is top top notch. Ive raced on 19 indoor tracks across the country, and Monza is the best by a decent margin. The track is challenging for experienced drivers and fun for those just getting into it. It has elevation changes, tight turns that require good control & high speed sections. The staff are all attentive to the customers needs and the place is very nicely designed with a high end Motorsports atmosphere. If you're an experienced racer, you'll enjoy the challenge, if you're new to the sport, you'll enjoy the fun. read more

Had an awesome time at Monza. The track is so cool with all the elevation changes and it is supper fun. It takes skill to go fast, but everyone will enjoy it. One of the best parts is that their karts are gas powered, not electric. Good to have a real engine when you race. You race against the clock,so even if you're not the fastest you can still compare laps with yourself and others in your group. They provide all the gear you need and you have a safety briefing before you start racing. It's nice being attached to Foxwoods as you have all the other activities right there. read more

My friends and I went to Foxwoods for the weekend and last minute heard about this racing. We went Saturday and it was probably one of the funnest thing we have ever done. The karts are gas powered and they really fly. The whole organizations commitment to safety is extremely impressive and the ride felt very safe. The day we went there were some sponsored things going on and it was a little hectic and there seemed to be a problem with our reservation. They took care of it and got us in immediately and were extremely professional. This place is awesome! We are going back in a few weeks! Thank you for a great time! read more

I really don't get why their is so many negative reviews about this place. I'v probably been coming here since it opened without any problems what so ever. So this is my opinion and you can just take it as it is. Others who say it's not fun or fast are just plain out lying! Elite yelper leaving a crappy review about going around and around? It's a track? Is it not? Haha! All I'm saying is that this isn't for the people who don't Kart all the time. Every experience isn't going to be the same as the last. Common sense driving in any new area you're not familiar with you can spin out or wack into the side of a wall. That's why they give you safety gear for crying out loud. People bash it because they don't get the full experience because they don't know how to drive the Go Karts and you don't know the track. But I can tell you this and it's that I have been to many places in CT and others do not compare in speed, cleanliness, customer service, as well as first time experience. If your at the casino to gamble then most likely you already lost your money lol. So take a little break and try out the track and enjoy yourself. Only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because on the busy nights some people get out of hand and maybe can't handle their alcohol. Which is extremely dangerous! But it's a very child friendly environment and the whole family would definitely have a blast on those not so busy days. Also in the winter months it is a little chilly. So if your not an aggressive driver I would say to wear a suit. The more aggressive drivers will most likely sweat the entire drive lol. 30$ heats, helmet and head sock they have there. Racing gloves 30$ a pair if you want some. 3$ water and sodas as well. 1,200$ 1/2 hour rental as well as 400$ private heats. More towards big groups and parties. This place is a joke, very dark lit on the track. They left a guy spun out and in the middle of the track for the whole race till I got tired of swerving to miss him and get injured. So I pulled off the track and stopped my $30 for 8 minute ride voluntarily might I ad. Then the little jerk in pit lane who worked there got excited at me for telling him to do his job and use the flags to warn others and to move the kart before we got injured. Didn't feel safe that's why I stopped. And I spent $60 for 2 sessions. The little punk threw me out very rudely might I ad. My dad just died a few weeks ago who taught me to drive and be a racer Over 30 years ago. I was trying to have a fun day with my boys and this is what I get. Will never go back and will bad mouth the place to every professional racer and driver I know forever. I a licensed racer and a very safe and excellent driver. And to spend that much money and feel unsafe while doing it, there's no excuse. I want my hard earned money back..... read more
