FPH&G is always really communicative, gets back to me promptly, cares about my experiences, comes when they say they will, is efficient with the work, does quality work and treats me, my family and my home with total respect. Their pricing is fair and upfront. Today, one of the associates Nick even contacted the manufacturer to get an item replaced for me under warranty and then showed me how to install it myself so that he doesn't have to come back and I can save some money. That's the kind of thing that makes me recommend Chris, Nick and FPH&G to everyone. Strongly recommend them.

I'm leaving a 5 star review for John and Rizzo Plumbing for a couple of reasons…read more I had an emergency situation: My sink pipe was clogged, my dishwasher was backed up & leaking and my disposal stopped working. John came down almost immediately & assessed the situation. I needed a different company to handle the deep clog with an industrial snake. John made a recommendation for a company to remedy my dishwasher/clog issue. He then promised to return on a Saturday to help me with the disposal. 1. John was prompt & professional. 2. He knew what he could fix and where I'd be better being serviced by a different company for my other issue, which I respected. 3. He came back to install a new disposal on a weekend to help me. I recommend this company if you want things done the right way the first time.

My honest review- (First the good) True Blue installed a new FHA furnace in my home in 2016. All…read moregood, very professional. I was repeatedly told it had a 10 year warranty. Fast forward 9 years, it stops working. I emailed True Blue and Steve (owner) now tells me that there was only a 5 year warranty ( I even sent them the warranty card that I registered) He did send his guy right out. Joey was very nice. He cleaned the igniter and it fired right up (but only 1 time). It took him about 20 minutes total. Joey recommended they we replace igniter and flame sensor because they were "only sold in pairs" (this was not true as you will see in the photos). (Now for the bad) I had previously researched the parts, which were $41.00 for both. I asked Joey how much it would cost to replace both the igniter & flame sensor. He said that he called his office and they said $829.00. Really? For a 45-minute job? I asked Joey to break down the parts and labor and he said "I can't do that". I then asked "that must be about 5 hours of labor, right? (they charge $145/hour) He was very hesitant to answer but replied "maybe 3 or 4 hours labor". I paid True Blue $145 (1-hour min charge) and he left. So much for taking care of a loyal customer. I ended up calling another company. They came out and did a complete tune up. They charged me $165 total for everything, including the new parts. They also confirmed that my parts were in fact under warranty (but not the labor) . I am one of those people who is very loyal to a company that takes good care of me. In this instance, I 100% believe that True Blue was trying to take advantage of me.

Last weekend I found myself without heat in the middle of the night , I was pretty sure I had not run out of oil , It was warm enough that heat wasn't an issue but I wasn't too happy about the possibility Of taking a freezing cold shower In a chilly apartment ..I had to be in work fairly early and didn't have time to check out the situation with the heat until I got home in the afternoon ....When I checked the gauge on my oil tank I found that I had over a half tank of oil ...I was glad about that but now what's going on ? I called my landlady who is very elderly and wasn't able to get an answer from her phone which was off the hook for 24 hours . When I finally reached her 24 hours later the landlady's son promised to call Thermoil in the morning leaving me for 3 full days without heat and hot water !! I was forced to stay home from work to take care of everything and make sure I got my heat back ...I called Thermoil around noon on Monday only to find my landlady never called !!! I was frantic at that point I contacted Thermoil myself and the secretary Adrina who was very helpful assisted me in trying to reach my landlady. My landlady's son came over during the day and tried to restart the furnace which eventually went off again Thermoil was diligent about making contact with my landlord , They were at my apartment first thing the next morning Performed all necessary maintenance on the oil burner to get it up and running again and even called me to make sure everything was running properly ! That's excellent customer service even more so since we had a bad experience in the past ....I feel Adrina and the staff at Thermoil went out of their way to make things right and for that I am very grateful Thanks Thermoil
