Lots of reading, crafts, group activities, some outings,independent play. Meals are provided along with a menu, so you know what your child will be eating in advance. The app is also great, photo updates are sometimes daily. The area and building are secure. High fencing, gates, door codes. The staff care for my children as if they were family. I first learned about Tiny Toes when they hosted a family activity/event. I got to meet the Owners and some of the Educators. My husband and I were impressed by how they interacted with children. The whole atmosphere was super bubbly! Over the years, they have received many awards for their involvement in the Community while also strongly supporting the families at the Center. I cannot express how underrated Tiny Toes is! They are more than just another childcare center. When you join their Center, they say "Welcome to the Tiny Toes Family", and I'm here to tell you, they actually mean it! Thanks for all you have done for our family!

Isha, the manager, is amazing--always open, approachable, and genuinely committed to making things easier for families. My twins' teacher, Kamal, has been fantastic. I've noticed significant development in their life skills since being in her care. I'm truly happy and confident sending my kids to Lotsa Tots. It's a supportive, nurturing environment, and I highly recommend it to other parents.

Once a month for $25, you will receive fresh fruits & veggies, a starch, and frozen meat. Pick up is located at the downtown Salvation Army. This month I received apples, oranges, romaine lettuce, several bell peppers, a bag of elbow macaroni, plus 3lbs of hamburger, 2 pork steaks, & 2 chicken legs & 2 chicken thighs. All for only $25/month! Each month, I'm astounded at the amount of food. This service has inspired me to find new and creative things too cook. My crockpot is really getting a work out. :) The women involved in dispersing the food are always very friendly.

It almost seems a bit silly to review a salon whose staff are constantly changing (as they tend to…read moregraduate the program and find employment elsewhere), but I'll give you my opinion of them nonetheless! The best part about getting my hair done at Marvel was hands down the price. Since I am a post-secondary student (and April was 50% all salon services for students), I paid only $38.50 for a women's cut and colour correction (going from a bad boxed dark-brown, to blonde). If you've ever had similar services done, you will know that a women's cut and colour usually fetches at least $130 (and up!) at most salons, so for under $40 I was hoping that the cost wouldn't reflect the quality. Fortunately, I ended up getting a great colour, and the cut was not to shabby either. It may be a bit scary going to salon and being made to sign a waiver (they are still learning, remember), but because all of the hairstylists/colourists are students, they put a great amount of effort into getting the cut and colour just right. If they are unsure of something, they ask their supervisor (who is constantly monitoring their progress with your cut). My only gripe would be that it took an hour or two longer than it normally would at any other salon, but I guess there had to be one thing sacrificed! VERDICT: If you are budget-concious person like myself (and aren't in a rush) then you should consider Marvel as a pleasant alternative to spending $$$ on getting your hair done elsewhere.
