The atmosphere is charming and it's located in a nice, safe neighborhood close to nice hotels. But why the mediocre rating? The service was terrible! From the moment I got there, I had to wait to be seated. A scowling young woman who didn't bother to say good evening and seemed annoyed that it was only a party of one, to the waiter who barely crossed to words with me other than to acknowledge my order and recommend a wine (which he got wrong the first time, although when he got me request for a red it truly was an excellent choice) were just one of the negatives. Then when it came time to leave, it was another long wait until what appeared to be the owner or head waiter finally requested my check, which also brought another set of eye rolls when I asked for separate checks for food and wine. Why I annoyed them I don't know. I was in a business suit, having gone there straight from a series of business meetings. Was it that I wasn't a native Portuguese speaker? Well, SP is an international city. Overall, I was made to feel very uncomfortable and as much as I enjoyed the meal, wine and atmosphere, I will not go back or recommend it. It was simply an unpleasant experience.

O incriável Caccio e pepe com raspas de limão e bottarga estava salgado demais (veja que minha filha pediu o mesmo prato mas sem a bottarga, e estava salgado também) . Pedi um vinho por taça e apenas tinham um pinot griggio, picante nada esplendoroso, mas que combinou muito bem coma salada de pera. Apresenta um amargor que me surpreendeu junto a Bottarga. O que confirma que um vinho pode melhorar (piorar ) muito com a comida que o acompanha.

Having the mouth watering risotto with mushrooms again and finishing off with the brownie and ice cream. I highly recommend this combo and you could easily share between two people because the portions are very large. Extra great deal-they have a waiter who speaks English and their menu has English on it as well so we could easily communicate and order wisely.
