We fell in love with one specific design she had posted on her Facebook. It was a baby shower cake with polka dots and a bow on the top layer. We placed the order 3 weeks in advance and requested for a layer of buttercream under the fondant with chocolate and fresh strawberry filling (and fresh strawberries) on the first layer, second layer white cake with strawberry filling (with fresh strawberries also). We were told because of the fresh strawberries and design of this cake it would cost $120 (pretty pricey for a cake to feed 30) so our expectations were high. On the day we picked up the cake, we noticed it looked a little plain. Come to find out, we realized she did not add the bow on the 2nd layer. We were guaranteed that the cake would be the same as her Facebook photo. Then when we decided to cut the cake and eat it for the shower, we discovered a very tiny amount of strawberries and no buttercream under the fondant layer. The strawberries didn't even have enough filling around them for a better taste. When I say tiny amount of strawberries I mean tiny. It seemed as if she cut 3 strawberries in the smallest amount of slices possible to spread out in the entire cake. It was a rip off. We also had a party of 50 people and a ton or cake left over. We even threw it away we had so much left over. Very disappointed and will be ordering from save mart next time!

However for custom food products there is the additional factor of meeting the intended use by depicting images of an event. The two products tested from this business were provided by the City of Los Banos as edible 'souvenirs' of the Historic Downtown Los Banos Gateway Sign ribbon cutting on 4/25/25. The cookies and cupcakes were displayed on plates. Update 4/27/25: Visual & Taste Test Results One sample out of three designs of a commemorative sugar cookie and one sample out of three flavor profiles of a chocolate cup cake were received for testing. A visual and taste test of both easily met all of the business 5-star quality requirements. The cookie and hard-shell royal icing design was firm and tasty and was large enough for pairing with a few cups of coffee or tea. The standard sized cupcake had an adequate chocolate cream frosting on a moist and again was very tasty. It's encouraged that other customers of this business also provide their ratings of any of the products until they are available in retail shops like bakeries etc.
