We had a flat on my wife's car,on December 24th 2024while visiting family during the Holidays. We were I40 in Monterey near Cookeville Tn. When we had to call for assistance. Again it was on Christmas Eve. But We found someone who could come and assist us. Again ,it was Christmas Eve .! We knew the price would be a little higher due to the Holiday Season, but never really thought it would be this much just to watch me in action. So after I changed my tire , and carried his jack back to his truck for him, we were asked if we would be paying with cash, or card. Figureing cash would be a cheaper, and that he merely Watched me change my own tire ,,,well we got charged $100.still.!!! The Good Lord only knows what the card option would have been. The tow truck driver was kind to us but still $100 for some kindness that we should be extending that to each other anyway. Sorry but I'm not sorry for calling these Scrooges " Price Gouging Bah - Humbuggers.!! Very disappointed .!!!

#25/2023 Out with the old in with the new…read moreOld Travel Center it was run down and decrepit over at Cookeville that used to have those great fried bologna sandwiches though LOL and the old Amish kitchen is gone! Same owner got himself a grant partnered up with Travel centers of America that has a new ta Express just built. This is a franchise not corporate owned. A very nice facility when I came in just recently opened days before. A very nicely new pave parking lot for now a beautiful brand new building. Featuring three different fast foods in the food court it has a now open Hardee's, a el tapiato fresh Mex Express similar to like Moe's Chipotle etc. And a full-service Sabarro. Are the general public it has easy access to the gas pumps it's got very clean brand new bathrooms of beer cooler soft drinks moderate size convenience store nice looking selection smaller but still good. It also has a community coffee nice to see out of New Orleans area that you find them further south. They're still working out some bugs in here they got showers I got a scale they got a little TV room. They're also the old rundown shop is going to get reopened again he hopes with a little bit of luck as things progress. I think having the TA name under his belt is going to be a good thing to bring more people in I just hope they don't trash it honestly. I came in and had Sbarro the other day enjoyed it very much. I hope you have good luck with the new center it's nice to see how clean it is right off of interstate 40 easily accessible and on the Long mountain route between Cookeville through Sparta down into Chattanooga.

My interest rate on my loan was even lowered than pre-negotiated which was nice. I was very skeptical coming from the other side of the Country to buy a car but the entire process was very upfront with no hidden markups or hidden upgrades I did not want. Thank you to Lance and the Nissan team there for making this a trouble free comfortable experience. I love my car. I am certainly recommending you guys to my friends, family or my fellow Yelpers! Ok, after SIX weeks, this dealer finally came up with…read moremy forms that I signed and am legally supposed to have copies of anything I sign, pertinent to the purchase of my used car. I finally had to resort to threatening them with having an attorney send a demand letter for the pages. The people at Nissan of NA told me I would have to send this letter to THEM!!! And, they mad it abundantly clear they would do NOTHING to help me with the dealer as it was privately owned. So, getting the pages from them, including the CARFAX report upped this review from * to **! Still not good, but when I finally put the need in words the sales manager could understand, it went from "we don't do this" to "we shred these forms" all of which I know is bogus. If they are legal forms, acknowledging I understood the purchase, they cannot shred them. So, I told him "If you buy a house, you get all copies of pages you signed, including ones you put your initials on every page, even blank ones" therefore, you have them and you will give them to me. Bottom Line: I finally got the CARFAS and TEN pages I signed! And, I no longer have any reference advertising the dealer on the back of my car!
