From ordering, customer service conversations, scheduling, delivery (they followed my location specs exactly - I did place cones to help), quality of the container (A+ - easily opened back door and I'm a small woman), pricing & pick-up - the best! Horrible Company. If I could leave zero stars I would. First off, it took them 5 days to pick up the dumpster. Took a call almost everyday to get it picked up before the allotted rental period to avoid being charged extra. It was picked up and dumped on a Friday. I got a call Monday that the weight limit was over by 6 TONS and was being charged an extra $700!! Absolute horse $#!%. I called to dispute the charge and was given a sketchy tipping reciept to "prove" I was over weight. There is no way I was over by that much but I can't prove it. I have to accept their word and this sketchy recipet which in my opinion could be easily doctored on their end. My advice is to totally avoid this company at all costs. read more

If zero stars were a possibility.... One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever received. I don't do reviews, I don' t do yelp, but I have decided this one was worth the effort because it was beyond horrible. The company attempted to deliver a dumpster to my property. It wasn't ordered, I wasn't aware, and the driver refused to provide any details (who ordered it, when, for what) so the drop off was refused. The company decided to redeliver when no one was home, placing the dumpster where ever they decided. They claimed the dumpster was ordered by my contractor who signed a contract with him but refuse to provide the signed contract to myself (the homeowner) or the contractor. They delivered the dumpster in front of my barn, on my driveway, damaging the driveway and preventing access or use to my entire farm for now 2 weeks avoiding all requests for removal. They damaged the driveway and have informed us their damage to our property is not their concern. Upon calling for the 3rd time to have them remove this dumpster, I was informed by the representative on the phone that they do not feel they need permission to enter my property so therefore they do not need to notify me when the pick up will be made. When I informed them this is a functioning farm with livestock and they did no have permission to come and go when they please, the representative preceded to tell me I did not have any rights. I informed her that the police for their trespassing and an attorney for the property damage will be contacted if she is unwilling to work with me to resolve the damage and the scheduling of the removal of the dumpster to accommodate my farm. The representative told me I did not understand how he business worked and hung up on me, subsequently making threats / slander about me and my property. Beware, just beware. read more

I have been trying to get them to pick up the dumpster they dropped off (on time) for the last month. They charged my card for overtime use of the dumpster, but I didn't ask to keep it longer. In fact, I would love them to come get it out of my driveway. I have called and left several messages, however no one answers the phone or has bothered to call me back. They answered the phone and employees were pleasant to work with. Overall my experience with Montella Dumpsters has been nothing short of Excellent. They were a perfect match the corporate office. I called them on a Thursday evening to schedule a dumpster rental & it was delivered the very next morning which was astounding, and put us ahead of schedule I shopped around for other companies providing similar dumpster rental service but all of them wanted to include contracts and, or additional services. It was Easy renting a dumpster from Montella...their dumpsters are nice and clean. I would highly recommend their services to anybody in the market for a dumpster rental and we will continue to use them going forward. I had a 30 yd. 4 tons dumpster. It was delivered and picked up on time. The issue I have is that afterwards, my card was charged additional $107 for overweight. It was mostly wood from old deck, no heavy stuff, so I doubt I could hit over 4 tons. And weighing done in my absence does not seem right at all. Very likely, they took advantage of the rains and simply weighed rain water collected in the dumpster. Not going to use them again. read more

A typical bait and switch company. Dumpster was not overfilled yet I was billed an additional 2 tons which essentially doubled the original rental cost. And I have no way to verify the weight. Follow up call with the company and was told the overweight was my fault and I should have known shingles are heavy. read more
