I got a Bone Score test at Montecito Concierge Medicine recently. From my first phone call to set up the appointment, to being tested and learning my Bone Score, it was a great experience. A tiny sensation from the local anesthesia, but even that was much less than usual because Dr. Viglione used a tiny needle. The test itself was completely painless and there was no pain afterwards. I was so happy to learn my bone score and discuss it with Dr. Viglione. It told me that, in addition to the bone loss I already knew about, my bone quality was low because my bone was soft. This is the information I needed to decide to take Prolia to improve my bones. I am an inventor of the technology and can attest that Dr. Viglione used it perfectly! Dr. Viglione is fantastic. He's super patient, accessible and compassionate. He's treated me for a bad back, an infected toe and some kind of skin infection I got in Cabo after stepping on a sea urchin. Oh and my blood pressure is finally controlled. He wants me to lose some belly weight but he doesn't make me feel like a lazy couch potato. He's very adept at the power of suggestion and setting a good example. This doctor is awesome. He is knowledgeable and compassionate. The medical group he is part of is not so. I tried to get my mother who is 74 years old into his care and she was denied because they wouldn't accept Medicare or medi-cal. Disappointing is to say the very least to a medical facility that denies helping the elderly. read more

He was able to see me right away, zero wait time, and had already reviewed my hospital records prior to seeing me for the first time. Dr. Viglione is an outstanding physician. Within the past two years he has been instrumental in the treatment of serious conditions for both myself and my wife. He provides a level of care that is extremely professional. He is compassionate and he always listens very carefully to what you are saying to him. He has never appears hurried and has always been prepared to go the extra mile to make sure that we received the best care possible, including referrals to specialists (if necessary taking the additional step of finding an alternate specialist if the first one could not see us within a reasonable period of time). It is not an exaggeration to say that he has saved both our lives. My wife had a rare neurological disease as well as a tumor on the brain. I had an aggressive cancer.
