Here's the reality: if you're visiting any area in close proximity to New York City, this is…read morelargely what you should expect, and it has been our experience in both Connecticut and New Jersey as well. There is trash everywhere. Truly everywhere. Many people don't bother using the trash bins and instead leave their garbage behind for someone else to deal with. Public spaces and facilities aren't treated with much care; we saw gum, trash, and random items tossed into the gas fire pits, and people taking selfies often seemed to take priority over respecting others' personal space. We were fortunate to have rented a condo outside the resort, but the behavior we encountered at the resort itself was very similar, plus a few additional moments we could have done without, including someone blowing their nose into their bare hand and whipping it onto the floor. My family and I are doing the 50‑state challenge, and we chose Camelback Mountain as our Pennsylvania destination. Had we realized how close it was to NYC, we likely would have picked somewhere else. The mountain is beautiful, and the resort has a lot of potential, but they were out of almost everything across the property. On‑site restaurants had limited availability, and the posted hours weren't accurate. There's also very little to do outside the resort at this time of year. I'd recommend skipping the "largest general store in the country", the condition of their petting zoo alone will have you wanting to start an animal rescue.

This is a great place for beginners! LOTS of green beginner slopes to try out. However, it's a…read morepopular spot and tends to be VERY crowded... That said, I recommend you get here as early as possible if you plan to rent equipment!! It's also very helpful to reserve your gear and lift tickets ahead of time. That will make the gear check out process a bit easier/faster. We arrived around 1pm, and stood in a ridiculously long line to get our gear... All in all, we spent a little over an hour and a half just waiting for our gear. We were pretty annoyed by this, so if you're looking to spend more time on the slopes, get here EARLY!!! Parking is free, but also very difficult to find the later you get here... So keep that in mind as well. They have lockers all over the premises to lock up your things. You'll have to pay to rent them and I believe the only option is to pay for the whole day. Regarding crowdedness... There were really long wait times at the ski lifts, which was very annoying and often frustrating. I get that they have upgraded systems that scan our lift tickets each time we ride, however it created a lot of chaos regarding the lines. I was not a fan. Also, the number of people who were just SITTING in the middle of the slopes, blocking the way was incredibly annoying and also dangerous. There were a LOT of people doing this... I get that it can be scary going down the slopes, especially if it's your first time, however MOVE TO THE SIDE if you're not planning on going anywhere. To end on a brighter note, we were surprised to discover that they offer night skiing here! So arriving later in the day didn't affect us too much as we continued skiing until after 7pm. As beginners, we only needed about 3-4 hours of ski time so it worked out great for us! Not sure if we would come back here or not, but we're definitely glad we tried it out at least once!

Jennifer bent over backwards at the last minute to accommodate our request, got us on the schedule, helped me bring my husband down the stairs in a wheelchair, and finally stayed in the city with us until it was time for me to come home. The next day she even told me that she was thinking of us and hoped that we were doing well. That's the personal service that a company like this can provide and does it very well. Thank you Jennifer and B&A for all your help and for being there when we needed you. I fully recommend them to anybody who needs transportation by people who really care.

I was supposed to drive him home today but was terrified that he would try to jump out of the car while I was on the highway or worse take over the wheel and cause an accident. I was telling someone how nervous I was and they suggested medical transit. I thought that was a brilliant idea and started searching the web. Most people were kind of rude and told me that they could not do it without 24 hour notice. One of the quotes I got was $500 for a 37 mile ride. I am so ecstatic that I came across this company. With two extremely positive reviews ( most places have 1 or 2 stars) I called and had the pleasure of speaking to Jen. She was so nice and quoted an extremely reasonable price. Told me what time she would be there and said it all depends on traffic but she kept constant communication and arrived relatively close to the initial time she gave me. She helped my dad from the house to the van and assured me she would call when she dropped him off. She called and told me she walked him to the door and reunited him with his wife. I am so grateful that I stumbled across this company and would not hesitate to recommend them to everyone.

At one time this venue was a jewel. That time is not now The bartenders are awesome. The food isn't bad either and the prices are decent....when things are all up and operational. Therein lies the rub. Place doesn't stay open cause people don't come. People don't come cause it's so inconsistent in it's operation. The whole place needs a scrub. First impressions matter and the outside is worn, the lights on the canopy look like they were hung in the throes of an epileptic seizure and the "street presence" is ZERO when coming in from the main road. There used to be some decent landscaping on the approach but that has been torn out (too pricey or too lazy? Who knows). Put a little work into the place and it could be a great hang. Folks are so desperate for something to do off-hill UT adjacent. Bring back happy hour music and the pool table and dart board. Get the game on the TV. Place is pretty mid in its current state. Maybe they'll get some leadership with the drive to bring back the luster. Would love to see it. PS fix the damn lights on the lake. It's the nicest feature of the hotel and it looks like a swamp at present.
