The research lab itself is filed with the most amazingly warm and helpful staff. Nurse S.E was super transparent. She explained every single thing that would be taking place including with who and how long it would take so I could plan my breaks and meals. The doctors are the best in neuromuscular diseases. I have a rare form of muscular dystrophy that they helped discovered and train the experts. This was a breath of air because they knew before I had to tell them and I didn't have to explain anything. They are the best of the best and this clinic was just top knotch. I wish I was closer so they could be the ones treating me full time but confident that they did an excellent job with the doctors I see now that trained here. Everything went as planned and finished exactly when anticipated. They are all amazing and this was a perfect visit.

This impressive university was a short drive from my Airbnb and I checked it out right before leaving town. Parking is a little tricky if you're not a student but I ilegally parked and got away with it. Shh . . . let's keep it a secret. From there, I went on foot to explore the heart of campus. While not a breathtaking campus, UR is nice. The heart of campus has some nice architecture and I walked into the library (shh . . .). After taking in the sights, I went back to my car and hit the road for Syracuse.

With safety top of mind, you won't roll down your windows until it is time for the swab of doom to enter your nose, and you'll answer all questions through the window as well. Bring your photo ID, have your appt number zoomed in on your phone and hop in line. Both times, the process from entering the line to leaving has been about 10 minutes TOPS. Making an appointment is super easy now with the option to call or schedule via a form online and get confirmation via text. My test was scheduled for the following day, but I've heard many people getting in same day as testing in Monroe County has slowed down. It looks a little apocalyptic with the National Guard, troopers, and heavy PPE, and I am grateful all workers have the ability to shield themselves and stay safe. I am so impressed with how seamless and easy this process is and am SO beyond grateful for the people working so hard day in and day out for the last 7 months. If you have yet to be tested and are thinking about it because you've been in close contact with other humans, I would HIGHLY recommend this test site. While I know pharmacies are currently offering tests as well, I think the safety precautions and more certainty that results will be correct is worth the drive to Henrietta. It is very uncomfortable for about 10 seconds (especially if you have a deviated septum or breathing issues like me) and worth the peace of mind. THANK YOU to MCC for providing this service to the community.

Federal ADA/Section 504 compliance is handled at the classroom level with high variability, leading to documented refusals of accommodations. If you are an adult student with complex medical needs or a disability, be aware that the 'interactive process' here is non-functional. I spent 1 semester at MCC and am transferring out. I intended to graduate with a 2 year MCIS degree. The degree of instability at MCC was apparent the moment the semester started, and unfortunately, it was too late for me to leave and begin at a new college.

They failed to give me accommodations for my autism. They failed to help me find any job to pay off the student loans. This place was the worst mistake of my life. Do not waste your money, do not go here. (Unless it's to get goodies from the dumpster on moving out day or steal toilet paper)

I need…read moreto RIT myself of all my feelings about this place and this review is how I shall do that. So RIT on if you're interested. Is that alRIT with you? I'm not crazy about the police (and they usually follow me around campus if I'm visiting a girl on campus at 3am, which by the way I did a couple of times but let's keep that between you and me and not put it all over Yelp or anything), and I'm really not crazy about the prices! I looked into coming here a long time ago and even back then the tuition was insane. I come here to eat, drink, and be merry with aforementioned girl sometimes, and all of the stuff on campus is overpriced and annoying, much more expensive than at UB North in Buffalo, which also - it has to be said - has better options, too. It's a beautiful and very safe, leafy, suburban campus, though. Cars aren't allowed on the majority of it which makes it safe and peaceful and quiet. It's got some great sculptures and a lot of pretty smart people. Not a lot of attractive people (unless you're into geeks), but I do know at least one ridiculously attractive girl that goes here, and that's the only reason I've really ever spent any time on campus. If you go here, take a trip to Cha Chat Cafe for some Brown Sugar Milk Tea, and to Bombay Chaat House for some kebabs. Also give Schaller's Ground Round a try, Sodam for some Yuk Gae Jang, and Tsingtao for some real Chinese food.

Given the size of the school and the classes, it's pretty easy to get to know the professors. They genuinely seemed interested in seeing their students grow and take advantage of career opportunities. After I graduated, I actually had a professor get in touch with me to tell me she had a pamphlet for me about a graduate fellowship that I might be interested in--a fellowship that would later give me a free ride to grad school. ;-) Despite it being a small school, there was always a lot to do. Their language programs, in particular, were a great source of entertainment outside of classes. I remember many fine dinners spent at the French House--far away from the dreaded cafeteria. ;-) Student government is surprisingly active for a smaller school. The extracurricular offerings were many and quite diverse. The campus has since expanded. I got a peek at it a couple summers ago at an alumni function. It looked great and, to be honest, I wished the expansion had been complete when I was still a student there. :-)
