Meh is pretty accurate here. This was our third coffee shop of the day (we enjoy our coffee when traveling, what can I say) - and it was very, very forgettable. We got there and first of all, parking is a bit difficult. We tried to park in the street but found none, we noticed an entry to a parking lot, so went in to discover it's only for the restaurant in the same area - the security guy was kind enough to let us park since we were going to stay long - getting some fuel/caffeine for our drive home. Went in and the place is quite nice and cozy, slightly modern. We got to the front of the line to order our coffee and got the Artisanal Lattes with Cafe Olla to go - service was good and the baristas were super chill. We got our coffee and that's where the joy started to die. The to go cups were super flimsy, particularly the lid - making it a challenge to drink while driving, especially on the less than manicures roads of the area. Between keeping the lid on to just keeping the coffee in the cup it was a challenge. So the obvious choice is drink it quick and not worry - we'll it wasn't all that good either. Flavor was, okay and it was a bit grainy (espresso bits in the drink). I wouldn't avoid this place in a jam, but I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

    Cute Cup Logo!

Cute little Coffee Stop, simple menu and relaxing outdoor area. It's located in the back of the lot along with a couple of other businesses. I saw a yoga studio, but other places were not as clear. I got an Artisanal Latte with the Cafe de Olla, they have other options for this. It is basically a latte sweetened with either cafe de olla , dulce de leche or one other. I asked for sugar just in case it was not sweet enough but the girl at the counter informed me it would not need any. She was right, this was one of the best lattes I've ever had. Only con was it wasn't very hot in temperature but other than that perfect ! The cups are so cute and I really wish we had one of these in the states.

It was on the warmer side and they didn't have any shaded seats available, but I love the sun and wasn't bothered by this. The servers were very attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and provided too notch customer service. I love when they can speak to the menu and offer suggestions. Me and my friend opted to share a salad and pasta because we weren't super hungry. We ordered the very fren salad and the Malfadine pasta. The salad was fresh, crisp and had a great flavor. The seeds at times felt like I had them all in my teeth, so needed to do a teeth check afterwards! Haha the pasta is made fresh and was light, but so flavorful. We did not leave a morsel on the plate! I only walked through the inside to find a restroom. It looked like they had a lot of seating for larger parties and a private dining room as well. Super clean, simple design, but felt warm. Wish I lived closer to dine here often, but it's definitely a spot to try if you're in town visiting!

[Parking]: Street parking only, but apparently there is a parking lot at 2775 State St for transit patrons using the Carlsbad Village Coaster Stop so park there at your own risk. I parked on the street just behind Jeune et Jolie for free. [Ordering]: There was a waiting line on Saturday at 11:15 AM, but the wait was only approximately 5 minutes. [Atmosphere]: Fancy interior decor with a dog-friendly outdoor patio area. [Menu]: Top Yelp highlighted items include the Breakfast Sandwich, Pizza Sandwich, and Smoked Fish Plate. Please note that breakfast items like Breakfast Sandwich and Wood Fired Pizza Sandwich are only served from 8 AM to 1 PM. They serve coffee from Steady State Roasting. *** Breakfast sandwich (Fennel Sausage. Charred Egg. Gribiche Aioli. Hook's Two Year Cheddar. Pain au Lait - $16): The sandwich tasted alright with a runny egg. Pizza: I didn't order it, but I took a bite and it was actually good. *** A solid 3.5-star on food. Based on my order alone, I am not sure it was really worth the extra hassle of finding parking, waiting in line, and paying up for a nice brunch vibe.

I got the fish tacos as the employee suggested it. They were m absolutely delicious! Perfect crunch with the added veggies and the chipotle sauce on top was I didn't add the sauce in the cup because it was a bit too spicy DRINK My husband got a Pepsi zero and I had a matcha with blueberry. My matcha was delicious. SERVICE I can tell our meals were freshly made bc it took 10 min to get our food. Pretty quick considering my fish tacos were fried. In terms of cleanliness, the team members quickly bussed tables after customers finished and everywhere looked super clean. The proximity to the apartment buildings nearby and seating is sometimes a premium. I like sitting on the porch and watching the people and wrapped with their pets to nearby Field Park. Sampled a few of the beers and sangria on tap with an açaí bowl. It's a little spendy, but a nice time. My last visit was with my wife and a friend and we were able to score a seat outside, which was good if you're in the area, I would definitely recommend.
