Worst coffee shop ever I went and spent about $400 pesos we got 3 croissants 3 coffees and 2 deserts the coffee tasted so disgusting not even the flavor I ordered, the coffee beans definitely expired. The croissants were burned. I took them back and they wouldn't give me my money back and said they'd re make the sandwiches and drinks but literally took them 40 mins to make everything and it was completely empty. Super rude personnel . Bad service and bad food. Refreshing blended coffee drinks along the main strip in Rosarito! If you're in Tijuana or even south of Tijuana, it's hard to miss the Mexican Starbucks, D'Volada. It's a chain that started in Tijuana and has spread all over Mexico serving coffee, coffee frappes, tea and also some creamy, fruity smoothies. Prices are similar to what you'd pay for the same in America. $2 for an espresso, $3 for a cappuccino, $4 for a Mexican Mocha and $4.50 for blended oreo, brownie or chai frappes. I got a standard iced coffee which was on special that day for $2. Medium strong with the right amount of sweetness and cream to balance it out. If I wasn't so full from all the lobster and tacos we ate I would've gotten the Mexican Mocha which is bomb. If you want the typical coffee pick me up while in Rosarito, then hit up D'Volada. If you have to have craft coffee and want to wait for that, then there's a place two doors down that does that process. No need to convert! They do accept US Dollars which is nice.

    Amazing Mexican mocha!!!

If you are looking for a great breakfast spot, this could be it! They offer a variety of coffees &…read moreteas, including frappes. I loved their lavender chai latte with almond milk, yummy! My husband ordered the coconut coffee and he said it was strong. My son really wanted to order off the lunch menu, but they only serve breakfast until 11am. He ended ordering the breakfast sandwich, which left him a very happy camper. My daughter ordered the red chilaquiles and she was pleased with her meal, but not super excited about it. Red sauce is mild. They also could have been served hot, because they arrived at the table a little on the lukewarm side. My hubby and I both ordered the tortilla españuela - they warned us that it would take about 25 minutes to make. Glad we waited because it was delicious. It's almost like a breakfast casserole that has eggs, potatoes, onions, cheese, and chorizo. Oh, and they garnished it was some spinach and cherry tomatoes. Let me not forget my husbands Cinnabon. It's served straight out of the oven. Light, fluffy & not too sweet. We would order it again. The restaurant is cute and trendy, clean and friendly staff. Our total bill for 4 people was a little over $70 us dollars, which I thought was kind of steep. But .. we all ate well and had fancy drinks. If you're in the area, try this spot.
