I started off with one doctor in this practice but I felt like he wasnt taking me seriously. So I switched to Dr. Meriki. She is very personable and actually listens. I recently had an endoscopy with her and all the staff at the center were amazing! The anesthesiologist was great also (sorry forgot his name). I definetly recommend this gastro group. Dr Shah was very professional, listened to my concerns, and offered testing to forward a diagnosis. She was easy to speak with and did not oversell on unnecessary measures. Basically, you could choose btwn a few options... not pressure, decide which you're most comfortable with... and we go from there. In my case, I wanted definitive answers and chose to have an endoscopy. That could not have gone easier/smoother. At the time, Dr Shah was VERY pregnant and a week from maternity leave. Yet, despite what could've been a difficult time for her to work comfortably, she was energetic, empathetic, and thorough. I hope the childbirth goes, or went, smoothly; and, that she is able to return to seeing patients when she decides the time is right. Why? She's an excellent physician! read more

I had a test that was fairly uncomfortable to go through. However, the nurse explained every step of the way very calmly and very nicely. She's a great asset to the practice. I find that when I go to a doctors office and the staff are friendly and very helpful, it makes the visit that much nicer. The staff clearly show their happiness with their roles. I hope this message gets to Dr. Belitsis. I have been a patient of his for over 10 years, and he found my gastric cancer and will always be indebted to him. We also share an affinity for Brooks sneakers. However, the front office staff and med techs (as noted by other reviewers) are the most impertinent, sanctimonious, insolent group of human beings on Earth. How this practice was blessed with so many is beyond comprehension. There is a warm place by the fire for these individuals. I tried to make an appointment to see Dr. Belitsis, but I was told to call back in December (next Monday) for a January appointment because apparently the schedules are only released then. What medical practice only books 30 days out? My PCP and Cardiologist are a minimum 3 months out for a wellness check. If you can get to see the good doctor, I would recommend him, but you'll need to get past the hounds of hell first. Happy trails! read more

So that unpleasant receptionist did make the appointment. Then I get a confirmation email, and AGAIN they switched the doctor from Dr. Baig to another doctor. AGAIN. I think this is a sign from the universe. I used to recommend this place because of Dr. Baig, but not anymore. They need to do something about their staff. Why are they changing your appointments without any consent, then trying to gaslight you that it didn't happen? Time to find a new doctor. read more

I drove to this facility for the first time today, and I was treated with nothing but the upmost respect, and the wait time was minimal. Nicole, is the first person that spoke to me in the room and what a nice relaxing, calming woman she is. When the doctor came in, he was very pleasant and upbeat and they both seem to think that they will get to the root of my problem and save me. I believe them. For the record, I googled yelp to see if this group was on here and how disappointing of the comments because I did not have that experience at all so that is why I am doing a yelp comment because I don't want you to be as afraid as I was to go there, they are wonderful, calm, sweet Understanding and intelligent. I had an appointment for 10a and was told to be there by 9:30, which I was. At 10:30 I had still not been even asked to provide my insurance card / pay copay. I asked the receptionist how long it would be and she said that there were a lot of people ahead of me. I waited 15 more minutes and was still not called. I ended up leaving after waiting for an hour and 15 minutes. read more

First time here visiting my new gastroenterologist Dr. Rajiv Uppal (so far he seems like a great doctor, I'd highly recommend him). The staff was very friendly and efficient. I arrived just a minute after my appointment time and had a bunch of paperwork to fill out (I absolutely detest those forms). I could see my doctor around 30 minutes after my scheduled time, so I wasn't too happy with the wait time but I can't really blame them for that since I had to fill out the paperwork. I will be coming back here soon for a follow up - can't really say I'm looking forward to coming back here (Lol!) but I definitely like the people here so far. read more

The fact that I posted a negative review on their website an it was taken down makes me even more positive that you should NOT use this group. The docs own the med-surgical center. While the doc was ok, the way I was treated at the surgical center to do the colonoscopy was unconscionable. My new gastro told me what they did was, "reprehensible". The doc never even bothered to follow up. Keep looking..you deserve better. read more

Be prepared to wait. Every time I think it's going to be different I am disappointed. They are constantly running 45 minutes late to appointments... yes, even the appointments where you have to fast beforehand. They also don't return phone calls promptly to make said appointments. I also had to request multiple times for them to fax my medical documentation to my doctor. Staff are friendly and I've never had a rude encounter by them... but definitely don't depend on them to be punctual. read more

Dr mariki and her Secretary B.J. have neglected to do their jobs and send necessary information for my dying mother to get the medication she desperately needs for over 7 months now. They lie straight to our faces and never answer our calls or questions they shouldn't be in business its an injustice to people who need efficient services read more
